I have been home for 2 weeks. Shawn decided to get me a teacher to help me with classwork at home. I take online classes and my teacher comes once to twice a week to help me with anything and to make sure that I am catching up. Since I was out for over 2 months in the hospital, I am behind on classwork.
My alarm goes off and I tap dismiss. I won't say that I'm completely happy but I am more happy than I used to be. Lillian has tried to call the house and my phone numerous times but one of the guys has always answered and yelled at her. I'm thankful, but I wish they wouldn't yell at her. Just calmly explain that we hate her and that she needs to go away and leave us alone.
I get up out of bed and go to my closet. I turn on the light and look at the assortment of clothes around me. Choosing a simple black long sleeve shirt, blue skinny jeans, and a black and red plaid flannel, I change and head to the bathroom to do makeup.
10 minutes later I walk down the stairs. Hayes is in the kitchen making pancakes and Aaron is sitting on a bar stool. They turn around when they see me. Aaron smiles and gets up to hug me and kiss my forehead. Aaron has been extremely sweet since I got back. He was sweet before I was admitted but he's like the big brother that is always trying to prove to me that he loves me the most.
Hayes kisses my forehead as I walk past and I open the pantry, my face instantly blushing from the kisses. I grab the syrup from the pantry and set it on the dining room table, next to the butter and powdered sugar.
In the next 20 minutes all of the guys were down stairs eating their weights in pancakes. I look around me and smile.
"You're doing it again," Carter says, grinning.
I smile. Apparently I've been zoning out a lot. It's true, I've been thinking. Although I tried to kill myself, the boys are still here. Aaron, Carter, Hayes, Nash, Cam, Gilinsky, Johnson, Matt, Taylor, and Shawn. They're all still here. They've been here through it all, and I'm pretty sure they're not leaving anytime soon. These boys are like my brothers. 10 big brothers and one of them is Shawn, the sweetest guy in the entire world.

Someone knocks on the door and I look up. Shawn is standing in the doorway with a huge smile on his face. He comes over and sits next to me on the floor.
"Would you like to go to the beach? Not to swim. Just...to go."
I nod and he his smile grows. He kisses me on the cheek before practically skipping out the door. Okay, that was weird.
Eventually I make my way down stairs and Shawn is pacing back and forth in front of the door. He smiles and blushes when I approach him. He grabs my hand and pulls me out the door, guiding me to the car. When we get in, he turns on the radio and rolls down all of the windows. I smile when Falling In Reverse starts blasting through the speakers. He knows me too well.
We arrive at the beach and walk for a little while until we reach a pier. We walk along it until we reach the end and sit down, our feet dangling over the churning water. I rest my head on his shoulder right before Shawn starts to say something.
"I moved to a little town thinking that I was going to be known for nothing. That I was just going to be the kid that can play guitar. But then I met a beautiful girl, who's smile lit up the whole room. I found out later that her world did not seem as beautiful as she is. I made a promise to her and the whole world that I was going to protect her from everything, even herself. I had to leave, and she ended up hurting herself. I missed her. I told myself that I am going to make her be happy, like she used to be. Her name is Ella," Shawn looks at me with tears in his eyes.
"I love you Ella. I've told you this a million times. And I'm going to prove it to you. Will you be my girlfriend?"
