13.)What's The Truth?

Carter's P.O.V

Playing truth or dare was a dumb idea. So far, Ashton streaked down the street. Luke and Gabby had to kiss while Luke was upside down. And Mikey and I had to kiss.

Stupid dares.

"So Carter, truth or dare?" Mikey asked me.

"Uh, I'll be brave and pick truth since no one has yet." I said.

"Okay. Why did you kiss Calum in the first place? Like how did it all happen?" Mikey asked me.

"Okay, well Calum and I were on the way to get my hair dye, and he was ranting about how he never gets the girl he wants. He said if he kissed me once his feelings would be able to control themselves, so I took that chance and just kissed him so he would shut up about it." I explained and Mikey looked really shocked.

So did Luke and Ashton.

"Why does that sound so familiar?" Gabby asked.

"Because Calum has done that to all of us, except Luke. He didn't meet you until Luke and you were already together. He did that to Ashton and Stella, and to me before when I was dating Olivia in year nine. Same line on all of them." Mikey said and Ashton nodded along.

"I wonder how many other girlfriends he did it to." Luke said, and I just shrugged.

"Why don't you ask some of them? Are you on good terms with any that Calum seemed to be pretty close to?" I asked and Luke nodded.

"I know he was like, bestfriends with Kathrine, and Lindsay. Both of them dated Ashton a few years back. We still talk to them because they ended on good terms." Luke said, and Gabby took out her phone and started typing.

"I'm gonna invite them over. I'll tell them we need to ask a serious question about Calum." Gabby said.

After she typed for a little while, she locked her phone and put it on the floor, the screen lighting up almost instantly.

"Lindsay is coming over." She said.

"Okay well I am gonna go change into something more comfy quickly. I'll be down in a second." I said and I walked out of the room.

I feel really stupid.

Like, more stupid than I usually feel.

How did I not see this coming?

I knew Calum was a creep from the start, but this is a whole new level of it. He went from staring at me like I was a porn star on his computer screen, to tricking me into kissing him. That's really fucking low.

I knew it was wrong when I did it, and I told him not to tell Michael, cause I wanted to tell him myself so Calum couldn't lie to him about what happened. He seems like the type of boy that would do that, just to get what he wants.

He obviously doesn't understand how girlfriends work.

Or bro code, cause he broke that way to many times.

I quickly put on a pair of shorts, and a tank top before running back downstairs into the living room and I saw Lindsay and Kat sitting on the couch talking to the boys.

"So he did it to you too?" Lindsay asked me. I nodded my head and sat down next to Mikey.

"What's his deal? Has he done it to all of us?" Kat asked.

"Everyone except for Gabby. He was too late to use that trick on her." I said and Kat shook her head.

"It's not like he can't get a girlfriend. He's had so many girl ask him out, and he always says no to them. What do you think the big deal is?" Lindsay asked.

"I have no idea, but whatever he is hiding is gonna have to come out sometime." Luke said and we all nodded, agreeing with him.

"What could be so bad that he has to steal away all your girlfriends?" Kat asked, and I shrugged not really knowing what to say.

"Maybe he has a crush on one of you." Kat said.

"Are you saying Calum is gay? Because with the way he stared at me, there is no way in hell he is gay." I joked and she shrugged.

"Maybe I'm way off, but it would make sense." She said.

She's not wrong, but I think someone would have known if Calum was gay by now.

"Well, there is only one way to find out." I said and turned and looked at Ashton.

"You're the only single boy, how good are you at acting?" I asked him. He shook his head and started laughing.

"There is no way in hell I am going to kiss him, or act gay, or anything like that."
