16.) Marcus

Carter's P.O.V

"And that's why I acted the way I did. I'm sorry I didn't tell you guys sooner." Calum said, and I shook my head. I'm trying so hard not to admit that I already new the truth about him.

"You know that we never would have judged you right? We aren't like that." Mikey said.

"Deep down I always knew you would be fine with it. However, it is always gonna be in my head somewhere that you guys don't like me because of it. It's a hard thing to come to terms with. Especially since I was always told I needed to fix myself and learn to like girls." Calum confessed.

"Who told you that?" Mikey asked.

"Not your parents, right?" I asked and he shook his head.

"No, not my parents. Them and my older sister are very supportive of my sexuality. My cousin Marcus on the other hand, he hasn't exactly showed me much support." He said.

"I never liked him. I always knew there was something between the two of you, I just couldn't figure out what." Luke said. I looked over at Luke and frowned slighty.

"I dated someone named Marcus before. He was such a dick. And he was really homophobic. Any chance it was him?" I asked and Calum shrugged his shoulders and then pulled his phone out and showed me a picture.

"His name is Marcus Heather. He graduated from school last year." Calum said. I nodded my head and made a gagging sound.

"Yep, that's him. Disgusting little fucker." I said.

"Sadly, I can't get away from him. He comes to stay with my family a lot because my parents think we are best friends. He acts so innocent in front of them. It's so irritating. He is actually coming next weekend." Calum said.

I gave him a look of sadness, and sympathy. He shouldn't have to go through all that alone.

I look around the room and see that everyone else has a similar expression.

"I have an idea, I'm not sure what you will all think." Gabby said.

"What is it? I'm willing to try anything at this point." Calum said, hope evident in his voice.

"Does he know that you are gay? Or does he just suspect it?" Gabby asked.

"He saw me kissing a guy once. I lied and told him it was a dare. He told me it didn't matter, I was still a fag until I could prove to him I wasn't." Calum said.

"Well then, have someone pretend to be your girlfriend. Just while he is here. Maybe then he will finally leave you alone." Gabby said and Calum smiled slightly.

"That might actually help. But who should do it?" Calum asked us.

"Well, I'm not usually one for sharing. However, since Carter and Marcus dated in the past, maybe she should do it. That might hit him pretty hard knowing his cousin got something he couldn't keep." Mikey suggested, and I gave him a weird look.

"Dude, I already tried to take her from you once. I don't think she wants to pretend to be my girlfriend for a week." Calum said.

"I actually don't mind. I'd love to see the look on Marcus's face when he sees me and you together."

A/n- Sorry I haven't updated much. I literally just had a baby! It's a girl, named Chloe. I will try and get back on track asap. Once I get the swing of things with her, I will update regularly.

Anyway, Jc Caylen will be Marcus. I chose him because I kinda think him and Calum look alike. Just me? Yes, okay.
