Carter's P.O.V

"We have all been there Carter. I don't think a single person in the world has gone through their entire life without lying, or using someone to get something they wanted." Luke said.

Somehow Michael managed to get me to come back out and talk to everyone, even though I have make-up running down my face from crying.

"I honestly don't believe in perfect. No one is perfect." Luke said with a very serious tone in his voice, and a blank look on his face.

"You and Gabby are perfect though." I whispered.

"Actually we aren't." Gabby said and Luke shook his head.

"She's got her secrets, and I have mine. Some we share, some we don't." Luke said.

"No one is perfect. I used you, remember?" Calum said, and I nodded slowly.

"See. I'm a nice guy, but I used you for my own benefit. I needed to prove to myself that I'm straight, but I'm not. I can't force something to change. I am who I am, and I need to be proud of it. Just like you should be." Calum ranted.

"Yeah, but you had a reason. I didn't. I just used him because I could. I wanted sex, he was willing to do it. I lied and told him I wanted to be his girlfriend all because I knew he would have sex with me then." I explained and Calum shrugged.

"So? He was doing it to you in the first place." He said

"It still feels wrong. I feel like it reflects on who I actually am." I said

"Car, I don't care about you did before me. I only care about what we do together now. Like Luke said, we all have secrets. We all have regrets. We all have feelings, and we do things we probably shouldn't with those feelings." Mikey said and I smiled at him, snuggling into his chest.

"Think of it like this. Your past is like laundry, Dirty laundry can be cleaned and re-worn. Bring it with you even when you put on a new outfit." Mikey said.

"I wear my past proudly. I know I've used people, and I feel bad, but I'll never regret it. You know why? Because I am who I am because of my past." Mikey said

"Dirty laundry looks good on you."
