There's a girl,
She wears a bright smile,
Fearing that one day everyone will see,
That she isn't all that they think.

"You're not fat"
"You're beautiful"
"You're perfect" they say.
Creating this forever living headache
How was any of this okay?

Don't they understand?
The mirror doesn't lie,
It's always the same.
Big thighs, chunky cheeks,
A tummy that never tucked,
She wasn't perfect.
She could never have that kind of luck.

The girl feels herself breaking more and more.
The pressure of these lies,
The pressure of these expectations.
They left nothing but horror.

Life is so cruel,
She believed.
There Is No Escape.

Until she started to wonder...
What if..
Oh what if..
she just,
Disappeared.
