Chapter 9: Good Morning, Good Morning

Author's POV:

It's now 9:00am and only a few people are awake. Emily and Benji wake up together and decide to make everyone breakfast (Awww!! Cute). Luckily, they had all the ingredients to make pancakes and ironically, there was loads of bacon in the fridge, Amy might of had something to do with that. Jessica, Flo and Ashley were also up, they started to clean up and tidy the tables, see they all may act like teenagers sometimes, but most of them can act like responsible adults. In the background Friends just happens to be on the TV, but on a low volume as the others are asleep. Sun peering through the windows, the sound of cutlery hitting the table, the sizzling of the bacon and Rachel and Ross having and argument (Friends on the TV), the perfect start to the morning. Then the Friends theme song starts and any normal human being would sing along ,so even tho they are really not normal, Emily, Benji, Jessica, Ashley and Flo sing along, but Flo seems to be singing the Spanish version (which I didn't know seemed to be a thing). "So no one told you life was gonna be this way!" *Clap, Clap, Clap, Clap* they sang quietly. Which then wakes up Jesse.

Jesse's POV:

I slightly opened my eyes, adjusting to the illuminated room, welcomed by the amazing, aromatic scent of bacon and pancakes. I see Benji and Em making breakfast which is where the delicious smell is coming from. Friends is on in the background, wow, this is the best thing to wake up to. I stare down and see my beautiful girlfriend fast asleep on my chest (she looks so cute, but how am I gonna get up without waking her?). I try shimmy out of her clasp (which sounds easy but it really wasn't) and place a pillow under her head. Enchanted by the smells, I walk towards the kitchen. Benji looks at me and because he so weird he sings,
"Good morning, good morning
It's great to stay up late
Good morning, good morning to you," I smirk and give him the 'you're such a dork' look. "This smells incredible," I say.
"Well it was mainly Emily, shes a great cook," he says as they both look at each other with such love in there eyes.
"When can I put it inside my belly?" I ask with slight drool coming out of the corner of my mouth.
"It will be ready when everyone else wakes up," says Emily continuing with her pancakes. Benji kisses her on the forehead (they are so adorable!).
I sit at the table next to Jessica, Flo and Ashley, we have a good convocation, seeing as I rarely talk to them.
Benji: "So are you looking forward to auditioning the new a capella enthusiasts?"
Jesse: "yeah, but its weird that we are not gonna be there to teach them our treble ways -"
Emily: "Treble ways, that's cute."
J: "well the Bellas are lucky, they have you, we've got some no one"
E: "I'm sure they'll do fine,"
Flo:" you know, I spent a whole year by myself and I turned out just fine," she says in her thick Mexican accent (I think) I give her a smile for trying to make us feel better.

"I smell bush pig, I mean bacon!" And Amy is awake. As well as Bumper and everyone else. They all wobble to the table, followed by alot of yawns and groans. "Urg! What time is it?" I hear a cute, slightly moody voice. I walk over to Beca who has just woken up. "Its time to get up and eat this delicious breakfast your friends have made," I say smiling at her with a big cheesy grin.
"Uuurrgg!!" She gets up and gives my a big snuggly embrace, but I pull away as she might actually fall asleep on me. I wrap my arms around her as we walk to the table filled with friends and food.
