Chapter 10: The Auditions

Emily's POV:

We are at the Barden University auditorium sitting in the seats surrounded by the Bellas, with the Trebles diagonally up from up from us , the Madonna group and the stoner group (as we like to call them) also here. "Any thoughts on the song?" Cynthia Rose asks. Lilly then whispers something but we all just look confused at her as no one got what she said. "What about Taylor Swift?," I suggest. "No, I think we need a song with soul and not an upbeat song all about ex boyfriends," says Chloe.
"What about Adele," Jessica and Ashley say at the same time (jinx). "I like it, let's go original Adele, something people would all know," replies Chlo getting really into this.
"Someone like you," shouts Stacie.
"What kind of white shit is that?" Asks Cynthia Rose (of course). Everyone stairs at her with a look of disgust on our faces. She looks down realising Adele was a massive singer and that she actually new the song.

Weirdly the stick thin, weird guy and Fat guy are still here from past auditions. They give some big lecture about confusing sexuality and the differences between high school and college. "So as the WORLD champions, the Barden Bellas shall choose the song for the contestants to sing," the stick thin guy adds.
"OK weirdos, let's go with Adele Someone Like You, its an oldy but a goody," shouts Beca as she is still the leader (even though Chloe did most of the organising).

The auditions were entertaining, some were really good, but... Let's just say some could definitely improve (I'm a nice person).

Jesse's POV:

Auditions were over and its time for a well deserved lunch break. The Trebles and the Bellas all eat together like one big family (cringe). I decide to take Beca to the corner of the hall to tell her some stuff about the place where we're staying. "So Becs are you still alright with us moving?" You can never be to sure.
"Jess of course, I literally cant wait to live with you," she says. "But I am worried to leave everyone, but I suppose we need to move on sooner or later," her face turns from a smile to a frown, I can tell this is gonna be hard for her, but its gonna be hard for my too, both of my best friends are here. Beca is also my best friend and I'll never feel alone when I'm with her.

I hear a phone buzz. Its Beca's.

Beca's POV:

Omg! Not again! Why is person torturing me! I have tried to block the number, but for some reason it won't let me. The text read "I will get my revenge, I might start by hurting your perfect guy Jesse!!" WHY IS THIS HAPPENING? How is someone that sick?

Jesse's POV:

Oh God shes doing it again, but this time I can see the sheer horror, the sheer pain in her eyes. Beca has gone as white as snow, she looks like she's gonna puke. "Beca what wrong," I say in a stern voice, this is serious. She suddenly runs off to the end of the auditorium to the exit with tears streaming down her face. WTF is going on with her, but I do know that this is not just a little thing. Ive never seen her act this way. The fear in her eyes said it all.

Fat Amy's POV:

What the hell! Where is Beca going? Why is she crying? This has got to do something to do with Jesse, Im sure of it!! The dingo fighter inside of me is unleashed! Ive never seem anyone act like that and to just run out balling her eyes out, is defiantly not Badass Beca. I bet Jesse has just broken up with her. I am gonna kill him for hurting my best friend!

I stand up and stride towards Jesse, who looks in shock, seeing as he just broke her heart. "Hey no one hurts my Beca!" I yell punching Jesse in the face. "OMG Amy! What are you doing?" I hear behind me. But the beast has been unleashed. " NO ONE HURTS MY BECA! DO YOU HEAR ME!" I kick him down.
"Amy stop!! Please!" Jesse begs for mercy, but I won't give it to him. I kick him in the stomach multiple times. "Stop! I didn't -" he tried to carry on but couldn't by the pain he was getting. Suddenly Bumper and Benji try to pull me away, but needed some of the Bellas to help. "Amy what are you doing to Jesse!" Chloe shouts.
"He's the reason Beca is upset, I can tell!" I shout to his face as he lies there on the floor. They finally pull me away. Jesse look me in the eye. A single tear trickles down his left cheek from his black eye which I gave him. I feel terrible, but I don't show it, he deserves it.
"*cough* i - would - never - hurt - Beca," he manages to get out and runs off (to go find her).
"What were you doing?" Bumper shouts at me.
"He's the reason Beca ran out crying her eyes out, can't you tell!"
"Jesse would never to that," says Chloe trying to calm me down.

A part of me feels extremely terrible but the other half, more dominant part didn't believe her, Jesse deserved it.
