Chapter Four

Katherine's POV :

"Katherine, Katherine! Wake up ! You must wake up miss ! Today is the day of your press conference with Prince Jack " Clara said trying to wake me up .

"Five more minutes!" I said pulling the blanket over my head . Clara pulled the curtains to shed light into my room . "Katherine! We have to do your hair and makeup and you and Jack must have a quick discussion to go over some things " "ugh fine !" I said . My hair was my messy and toddled around .

"'Miss Katherine take a seat I'll draw you a bath . " Clara then went to my bathroom to fill my tub.

I turned the television on.

"Hello ! Welcome to Good Morning New York ! I'm Sara Jacobs ! Today is the day of our very own Prince Jack and California's Princess Katherine's press conference on the current status of their relationship and the countries ! Good Morning New York is the only news station in USNY to be given access on this day ! California's News station Hello Cali is the only station to be given access in USC ! Today our own reporters Reno Sweeney will be there live with our on site team ! Right now the prince and princess are getting ready ! Here's Reno "

"Hello ! Yes thank you Sara ! Today is a historical day ! It's the beginning of the two countries , New York and California beginning to form as one again ! Right now I have got access to an exclusive interview with Miss Medda !"

Reno then walked into Meddas office . "Hello , " Reno said . "hello ! And hello New York !" "We would like you to answer just a couple of questions " "Alright let's go on with them " "Alright , Miss Medda have you ever meet with princess Katherine ?" "Yes last night the three of us had a lovely dinner in which there was plenty of conversation " "and have you spoken with King Joseph since the announcement?" "Yes , I spoke with him this morning just to double check on his daughter " "And are you ready to allow Prince Jack to run the country ?" "I've taken care of him and this country for almost -10 years ! I'm in need of a break and Jack is ready to run this country !" "Thank you so much Miss Medda ! " "your welcome !" "I'm Reno Sweeney ! Reporting live from the Needle Lander Palace ! Channel 3 Good Morning New York . I'll be back in an hour and half for the press conference with Prince Jack of New York and Princess Katherine of California's ! Back to you Sara !"

"Yes thank you Reno ! "

"Lady Katherine the water is ready !" "Oh okay I'll be right in " I stepped into the warm water . I washed my hair and body then stepped out .

Clara handed me a cup of tea and I began to sip it while she did my hair . She took some pins and pined half of it up and enhanced the curls a bit .

"Alright miss put the tea down and let me do your makeup " she took some powders and such and did my makeup lightly . "Alight you can go back to your tea I'll be right back " "where are you going ?" "To see if Miss Medda wants you and Prince Jack to match " "alright "

Jacks POV :

Davey was currently was looking for clothes for me . I had a robe on and was watching the news . I had coffee in my hand and my feet up .

"To the Yankees vs. the Brave . !" "Thanks Sara ! The score at last nights game was perfect ! New York City's very own Yankees won ! 8:2 ! "

"Yes !" I said . "what is it ? " Davey asked looking at the colors . "8:2 YANKEES WON !" "That's great !"

Then there was a knock at the door . "I'll get it !" Davey said running to . There was a soft mumble and a laugh then an okay then walking off and closing the door.

"Sir . Your aunt request that you and the princess wear similar colors , you will be wearing blue and she will have on purple " "oh okay " he then went to get me a blue dress shirt , black tie , slacks , a blazer and shoes  "I can dress my self Davey " "okay but I'll be right back to get your crown on you " "Okay " I said .
