Chapter 7: Bad Timing

Harrison got in the car and Calida got in beside him. He flew up and put the time: 27, January, 1919. He zoomed off and reached 100mph and saw everything was dark and gloomy. He landed and they both got out. Suddenly the time paradox made a loud bang and something come out the bottom. They looked under the car and saw that the axel had come off. They couldn't move without it. Harrison said he would go to town and get help. After two hours Harrison had not returned so Calida went to look for him. She saw that he was trapped by two people and ran at them. They both turned and told her they wanted to ask him questions. She said that was fine and to take him. The two men turned around and Harrison was gone, Calida turned and ran. Calida ran back to the car and found Harrison under it,
"Why did they want to ask you questions?" She asked
"I was knocking on doors asking for help, and they saw me and pushed me to the ground" Harrison replied
"Oh"
Calida went over and stood over Harrison, she pulled him out and laid on top of him. He put his arms around her and they cuddled for a long time. The next morning Calida woke first and sitting up woke Harrison.
"Sorry I didn't mean to wake you" she said
"It's ok" Harrison replied
Calida went and hoped it the car and tried to start the engine, she tried to move forward but didn't move she cut the engine and Harrison went back under the car to try and fix it. Harrison managed to get the axel on but it wasn't on properly as there was nothing to keep it on. They had to find a way to get it moving but there wasn't a way. Harrison tried the flight system and it worked but the wheels came off and the car fell back down. Harrison reattached the wheels and they both got in.
"I'm going to raise the car then get to 100 mph as quickly as possible" Harrison said
He raised the car and pushed the accelerator and gained speed quickly, he got to 78 but realised he hadn't changed the time. Calida saw and put the date to 2025 and the car made a loud noise and a house appeared, Harrison missed it but landed heavily in a field. Harrison looked around and smelled smoke, he looked at Calida who was unconscious. He got out and ran to her and pulled her out, he saw the car was on fire and picked up Calida and ran away. When he got to a safe distance he turned around and looked to see the car completely on fire. Suddenly it exploded and fire and lightning went everywhere and the car was gone, Harrison saw some bits of the car but then it reappeared. This time it crumbled in on itself and it looked like a ball of fire with shot out more sparks then it just fell apart.
