8: Scorpius x Rose ~ Holiday Miracles

"Mr. Malfoy!" McGonagall barked. Scorpius Malfoy nearly face planted onto his desk.

"Y-yes Professor?" he asked. She narrowed her eyes at him.

"10 points from Slytherin. Pay attention!"

"Yes Professor." he replied glumly.

"What's up with you?" Albus whispered.

"I don't know," Scorpius replied hastily.

They continued to listen to Professor McGonagall until class was over. They walked out of the classroom as quickly as they could. Scorpius followed Albus until they reached Albus' family and friends, which were James, Louis, Roxanne, Molly, Lucy, Lily, Hugo, Lorcan, Lysander, and Rose.

"Hey Al!" Lily greeted.

"Mum and Dad sent a letter. They said they want us all to come over for Christmas break. Fred, Dominique, Victoire, Teddy, and everyone else will be there." James said.

"They also said Teddy and Vic are going to make an important announcement. Oh, I hope they get married!" Lily squealed. Scorpius stood away from them awkwardly.

"I'm going to go pack my things for break. See you later, Al." Scorpius whispered. Just as he was about to leave, he felt a warm hand pull him back.

"Where are you going Scor?" a voice he knew all too well asked.

"I'm going to pack my things so I can leave you all to plan." he muttered. Rose faced him. She cocked her head.

"What do you mean? I thought Al told you." Rose said, confused. Albus's cheeks burned.

"I might have forgotten," he said under his breath. Rose grabbed both of Scorpius's hands.

"We want you to come over for the holidays." she said excitedly.

"Is that really okay?" he asked, knowing that Ronald Weasley, Rose's dad, hated him.

"Of course! It would be wonderful to have you over!" Rose exclaimed.

"Oooooohhh." Lucy, Molly, Roxanne, and Lily teased.

"Shut up." Rose said, making the girls giggle.

"So, want to?" she asked. Scorpius's cheeks burned, which made Albus, James, Louis, Hugo, Lorcan, and Lysander smirk. Scorpius was extremely pale, so whenever he blushed, it was quite noticeable.

"Err...sure. I'll go owl my Mum." he said.

"Alright, see you later." Rose said. She surprised him by throwing her arms around him.

"Bye, Scor." she said before walking back to everyone.

Scorpius left, feeling flustered.

"So, you and Scor huh?" Lily asked.

"We're just friends." Rose said smoothly.

"Scor and Rosie sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G, first comes love, then comes marriage, then comes the baby in the baby carriage." Molly, Lucy, Lily, and James sung. Rose rolled her eyes.

"Don't call me Rosie. And James, aren't you a little too old for that?" Rose asked. Albus scoffed.

"He claims he's never too old for anything." he said, rolling his eyes.

Everyone laughed.
