9: Meeting Her

Luna walked through the huge white place. She wasn't quite sure where she was, but she had an idea. She sighed sadly. Luna missed Lorcan and Lysander, her twin sons, but they would be okay. She knew they would. Her only comfort was that she would be with Rolf soon.

Luna soon reached a place that looked a lot like King's Cross, except cleaner and empty. A train stopped in front of her. She hesitated. She somehow knew that if she got on, there would be no turning back. Luna took a deep breath and walked onto the train.

The train soon dropped her off at yet another unknown place. She wandered around for a while before she heard a voice.

"Lost?"

Luna turned around and saw a young woman with shoulder length, wavy, red hair, emerald green eyes, and freckles.

"Yes," she said. The woman smiled.

"I was too, when I first arrived. In fact, I think I still am. But I was lucky enough to have the love of my life by my side." the woman said.

"My husband died. I don't know where he is," Luna explained. Then she frowned.

"Is something wrong?" the woman asked.

"I just miss my sons. I hope the Nargles don't get to them," Luna said, frowning even more. The woman chuckled.

"I used to know a girl who spoke of Nargles often. Her name was Pandora." she said thoughtfully. Luna smiled.

"That was my Mum." she said.

They remained in silence for a moment.

"Who are you, by the way?" Luna asked curiously.

"Lily Potter," she replied.

"You're Harry's mum!"

"Yes, I am. Thank you for helping him all these years, Luna. I don't know what he would have done without your help," Lily said, smiling gratefully.

"How did you know my name?" Luna asked.

"I've been watching over my son for a long time." Lily replied simply. Luna nodded, knowing that she'd most likely do the same with Lorcan and Lysander, just as her Mum and Dad had done for her.

"Where are we?" Luna asked suddenly.

"Even after all of the years I've been here, I don't know myself." Lily said honestly. Luna nodded, disappointed.

"Follow me Luna," Lily said, walking forward.

"Where are we going?"

Lily paused for a moment, considering the question.

"Rolf is waiting for you," she replied simply.

Luna knew that neither of them knew where they were going. All she knew was that she was going to be with Rolf soon. And that was enough to keep her walking forward, following Lily into the unknown.
