When I wake up my head is spinning and my entire body is in pain. I try to open my eyes but the light in the room makes me shut them again. "Ugh."

"Nurse!" I hear a familiar voice yell. "Nurse." I hear the door open and close. I'm in the hospital, what happened. The door opens again and I hear shuffling. I open my eyes again and this time I bear and grin the lights. My vision is blurry and my mouth feels dry. I feel weak. "Holly." I look to my left and blink a few times before my vision begins to focus.

"Heck." I stare at the beautiful boy in front of me, why is he here. "How long have I been asleep?"

"I need to look you over and make sure everything is fine." I look to my right and the nurse is looking at me expectantly.

"What am I doing here?"

"Cassie and you were attacked by her father." Heck says. Who is Cassie?

"Is she ok?"

"Holly." She steps through the door and she looks fine, not a scratch or a bruise. "How are you feeling? I was so worried and we didn't know when you'd wake up."

"How long have I been asleep?" I ask more forcefully this time.

"Almost two months now you were in a coma, you hit your head," Cassie says.

"I did?"

"You don't remember?" She asks.

"No."

"How much exactly don't you remember?" The nurse asks me.

"I don't know."

"It's March 2013." Says the nurse.

"No it's September 2012." I look at everyone in the room and they look alarmed. "Isn't it?"

"No." Heck says softly before leaving the room looking upset.

"Why is he here and who are you? Where are my parents?" I look towards the girl and she just looks confused with tears in her eyes.

"I'm going to go and get the doctor." The nurse says. She gets up and leaves but the girl pulls up a chair and has a seat.

She reaches her hand out and smiles. "I'm Cassandra but you can call me Cassie and you look like you could really use a friend." I look at her outstretched hand and take it. "I'm your best friend."

"Best friend?" I ask. "Since when?"

"I'm not exactly sure but if my guess is right a little before New Year's and Heck is your boyfriend who you love." I begin laughing hysterically.

"Heck and I hate each other," I say trying to suppress my laugh. "He doesn't love me and I don't love him." She rolls her eyes and pulls a phone out of her pocket. "What are you doing with that?" I ask. Realizing the phone is mine.

"Go through it, the last few months of your life are here." I frown and take the phone from her outstretched hand. I look at my screen saver and its Heck, Cassie and I making funny faces. I go to my pictures and there are pictures of Heck and I kissing cuddling eating goofing off and there are pictures of Cassie and I just being friends. I go through my call log and there are even calls from my dad, he never calls. I check texts and there are texts from Heck saying how much he loves me, we made plans for the future. Texts from Cassie about random things or a guy named Logan or me trying to convince her to get away from her father, but she always refuses. I look up at her.

"I can't remember the past few months of my life." Tears fill my eyes and Cassie takes my hand.

"Don't worry it will all come flooding back to you in no time." I nod.and squeeze her hand appreciatively.
