The lights in the Blood Clinic were off--it was so dark, the only light was from the moon. The sun was beginning to peak out from the horizon--we had to hurry.
"I smell it really strong this way." I said, excitedly.
Sam was behind me, but I could tell he was listening to me. "I do to!" He said, coming up beside me.
We were still in the white hallway with the identical rooms--but finally we came to an opening. It seemed that all the hallways lead to it. It was a huge computer lab. There were strange looking machines everywhere. They looked like something straight out of a science fiction movie. All the equipment smelt strongly of blood.
"I guess this is where they test the blood for diseases before shipping it out?" Sam said looking closely at the machines.
"Yeah, I guess so." I replied, but I really didn't care about the computers and all the technology, "where's the blood?" I asked desperately.
"You're right, we should keep looking." He said, pulling his eyes from the technology and walking up beside me.
The good thing about being in a dark building was that we couldn't see each others rotted faces, but I was starting to smell it, and was honestly scared to even glance at it.
The whole building smelled so strongly of blood it was hard to find the source. "This way?" I said guessingly, but since Sam just nodded I figured he agreed.
We were heading down yet another hallway that was the same as the rest. This was harder than I would have thought.
