I need to think fast, really fast but my brain is in a panicked mode. I can barely form coherent thoughts at this point.

"Think Nora, Think!" I whisper.

I let out a whimper when my arm hits a low branch and realize I can't go on much farther. The men and their animals are getting closer, I can clearly hear the barking and yells from the men.

How far do these fucking woods stretch?

NORA! Aaron's voice booms in my head, almost making me trip over a bush.

Aaron? I'm in a bit of a situation... I'm not sure how this telepathy thing works but I imagine Aaron in front of me and give the words a mental push.

What? What's going on? I can't see because of your barriers! How did you even put them up! Okay, doesn't matter, listen, whatever situation you're in, remember, you can control all fucking five elements! USE IT.

I squint, a headache beginning to form because of his yells.

Okay, okay, I have to use my five elements.

A quick look behind me tells me I've got 20 seconds, max, before they catch up with me and my legs give out.

I need protection first...

"A spell of safety here I cast

A ward of might to hold me fast

A shield before me and behind

To right and left, protection bind

To me may no ill come!"

The words came easily to me and soon, I felt engulfed by a ball of fire. I didn't panic, I actually felt secure. I suddenly stopped running and put my hands on my knees, trying to catch my breath.

I then turned around to face the men so desperately trying to kill me and find myself face to face with the most horrid creature I've ever seen...

The animal had the body of a black pit bull but had three heads instead of one. I freeze while the creature continues barking, trying to break through the orange ball of protection around me.

I knew I had to act fast when the other two animals arrived but it seemed like all I could do was stare in shock while they hissed at me with a serpents tongue.

The sound of a gunshot wakes me up as it bounces off the ball, leaving a blue mark on the firey orange.

This ball won't hold forever.

I have to think quickly. I glance nervously around, until My eyes stop on all the low branches.

A slow smile crept on my face as the words came to me, like a moth to a flame.

Ironic...

"Earthen Rage give me might,

Earthen Rage give me light,

Earthen Rage grant me the power,

Earthen Rage lend it to me."

The floor underneath me suddenly starts to shake violently, knocking me and the men on our feet.

I hear the dogs whimper when the branches of the nearest trees start to move, pushing them away.I smirk when the branches take each guy by the ankle, letting them hang upside down.

I'm enjoying my victory when the sound of the ferocious animal growling wakes me up.

HOW COULD I HAVE BEEN SO STUPID?

I was too caught up with the other spell that I didn't even notice that I let my fire shield down. I freeze, unable to react as the dog runs towards me with unnatural sleep. I can only gape and let out a scream while he jumps on me, causing me to fall on the ground.
