Chapter 9

Ace

Savanna was looking at me just waiting for my answer.

"I was out with Jacob." Turning to face her.

"Really? Do you really expect me to believe you. Your in the same clothes as when I left. You have clothes at Jacobs house Ace. So where were you last night." Putting her hands on her hips

"I was with Jacob I just wanted to get home and have a nice shower. Why do I have to be somewhere other than where I said I was?" Going to up the stairs and into our room.

"Because I know for a fact you were not at Jacobs because I stopped by when I realized you weren't here. His maid answered the door and said he wasn't there and wasn't last night either. Why are you lying." Following me into our room and standing in front of the dresser.

"I'm not I was with Jacob can you please move so I can get some clothes please." Waiting for her to move from in front of the dresser.

Moving slowly away from the dresser with her eyes still on me, "Are you cheating on me?" Sitting on our bed with her legs crossed and her arms crossed over her chest.

Turning my head up at the ceiling I closed my eyes, "No Savanna I am not cheating on you." looking back inside my drawer and picking up a pair of boxers and a white t-shirt. Facing her I looked at her for a second then headed to the bathroom.

"Why did it take you so long to answer my question then." Starting for the bathroom 

"Jesus Savanna, I didn't cheat on you ok. I was with Jacob last night and if you don't want to believe that then I am sorry. I wouldn't cheat on you for one because I love you, two because I asked you to marry me. Now please let me shower in peace." Closing the door before she could add anything else.

Putting my hands on the sink counter and blowing out much need emotions. Starting the shower I got undressed and got in. I let the water go all over my face, hair and body. I so needed the hot water that was going over me.

When I was finished with my shower I got dressed and brushed my teeth then opened the door. Walking out I saw our bedroom was empty and I put my clothes into the dirty clothes hamper and walked to my sock drawer and pulled on some black comfy socks. I walked into my closet and found some warm sweats and headed downstairs into the kitchen.

"Ace I'm sorry for accusing you of cheating." 

Looking at the island I saw Savanna sitting on her phone, "It's fine you were just worried." Opening the fridge I picked up the orange juice and put it on the counter. Opening the cup cabinet I pulled out my mug and filled it with some juice.

"Are you doing anything today? Because I was hoping we could go to the movies today." Savanna said walking over to me

"I have a few calls to make but I can make some time in the afternoon for the movies. What movie did you have in mind."  Picking up my drink and looking at her

"Well we could see what s out when we get there. I just thought it would be something good to do today. Kind of like an apology." Wrapping her arms around me

"I said I already forgive you babe, but we can still go to the movies." Wrapping my arms around her and putting my head on top of hers

"I know I just feel sorry now for accusing you. I mean why would you cheat on me. No one could love you like me." Putting her head in the crook of my neck.

"I'm marrying you aren't I? Plus why would I cheat when I have you as a my girl." Letting her go to put my cup in the sink. Turning back to her I kissed her check, "I'm going to make those phone calls and try to be done by noon ok." Walking to my office I opened the door and the shut it behind me.

I had finished my phone calls and now i'm heading up to our room to change into some thing more appropriate for the movies. I found some nice jeans and a t-shirt. Switching them out for the sweats and shirt I was putting on my sneakers when Savanna walked into the room. 

"Are you ready to go?"

"Yeah just tying  my shoe and then I have to get my wallet and we can head out." Getting up and going to get my wallet.

We both headed outside to my car and got in after I locked the doors. On to the movies we go.

The movie theater was fifteen minuets away so we were there at twelve thirty. Walking up to it the doors I opened them for Savanna and waited for her to go before I walked in behind her. "So which movie do you want to watch?" Putting my arm around her shoulder.

"How about a rom-com?" Looking at all the movies that were displayed on the screen

"Alright you pick the movie and I will get the sweets ok." Handing her some money then heading for the snack counter.

"Hi, can I get a large popcorn, some air heads, two sprites and some Twizzlers please." Opening my wallet and waiting for her to tell me how much it was. When she told me I handed her the money and I was starting to get the things when Savanna showed up taking  some of the things as well. Walking to the ticket person handed in our tickets.

"So what are we watching? I know you said a rom-com but what?"  Looking at her

"It's an old movie called Never Been Kissed."

"Oh ok." The looked for the room it was in. 

The movie didn't start for a whole nother ten minuets. 

"I'm glad we did this today baby." Savanna said as we got to some empty seats."

"Me to we haven't been on a date in a while and this is nice so lets enjoy it." setting the drinks down

"I love you you know that right." She said turning in her seat to look at me.

Kissing her sweetly on the lips I smiled at her,"I know and I love you to, so much." The we talked just waiting for the movie to get started.

They will be meeting soon guys I know it seems like i'm dragging it out but i'm really not
