Same Mistakes (sequel to She's Mine)

Chapter 3

~~~~HARRY'S POV~~~~

We burst through the hospital doors and walked up to the counter

"Where are the boys?" I asked

The lady looked up from her computer

"Sir, there are tons of boys here please be specific" she mumbled, looking back at the computer screen

I groaned

"Niall, Liam, Louis, and Zayn" I said

"Last names?" She replied

I ran my fingers through my hair in frustration

"Horan, Payne, Tomlinson, and Malik" I said impatiently

She typed something on her computer then looked back at me

"Tomlinson is in room 385 but you can't see him. The rest of them are in 384"

I thanked the woman and grabbed Jamie's hand and began to run down the hallways looking for room 384. We passed by so many doors yet I haven't found room 384. There's 389, 388, 387, 386, 385. I stopped at room 385 and looked through the window. The doctors were surrounding him so I couldn't get a glimpse of him. Tears stung my eyes but I forced them back and walked into room 384

"HARRY!! JAMIE!" Liam, Niall, and Zayn yelled as they sat up straight in the beds

Jamie went to hug Liam and I went to hug Zayn

"We thought we lost you guys" I said as I hugged Liam

"We're survivors mate" Zayn chuckled

Jamie stood next to me after hugging the boys

"What happened to Louis?" I hesitantly asked

They gave each other looks and Liam spoke

"He um..... The thing....the thing started beeping and he's.....dead" Liam croaked out

"LIAM! DON'T SAY THAT! HE'S GOING TO BE JUST FINE!" Zayn yelled

"How do you know?! The damn thing started beeping signaling that he's dead!" Liam shot back

"He wouldn't leave us!" Zayn replied

They kept arguing and I looked at Niall

"They've been going at it since the thing started beeping" he mumbled, rolling his eyes

"Guys shut up" I mumbled

"I'll be back" Jamie mumbled

"Where are you going?" I asked

She shrugged

"Going to walk around the hospital and let you spend time with them" she replied

"But I want to spend time with you" I said, pulling her closer to me

"You spend time with me too much" she replied

I sighed and let her go. She began walking but ceased her movements and came towards me again

"Can you tell me what you do when you go out?" She asked

"What are you talking about?" I questioned

"I saw some magazines and it had a picture of you and some other girl on it" she smiled "you looked pretty happy"

"Jamie I--"

She chuckled

"Just drop it, I'll be back" she said, cutting me off

She walked out the door and walked down the hallway

"Woooooooooow" Niall said "you should just tell her, Lad she's gunna find out and it's not going to be the easy way"

"What am I suppose to tell her?! 'Jamie I'm pretending to date some girl for publicity' " I said

They shrugged

"Just...tell her management is making you and there's no way to get out of it" Zayn suggested

"I don't know..." I mumbled "people already think I'm a dick cause they know I have a daughter...two actually"

"Oh yeah..." Liam said "the day you admitted to the world that you were dating Jamie and had a kid"

I nodded

We sat there in silence as we looked everywhere else except each other. I kept re-thinking memories of Louis and I. Like when we first met, or when we got in trouble by management for literally jumping into the audience at one of our concerts. I sighed and ran my fingers through my hair. I just hope he's okay

~~~~JAMIE'S POV~~~~

I sighed and pushed the door open and slowly walked over to Louis' bed

"Lou..."I croaked "please wake up...you don't know how hard it would be to tell Darcy that you're gone...."

I grabbed a chair and sat in front of his bed, looking at his lifeless body. Tears slid down my face but I quickly wiped them away

"You'll be leaving behind so many people that love you and care for you.....we'll miss you're sense of humor, the way you could make anyone laugh no matter how shitty they were feeling" I laughed "you're a great uncle and both Darcy an Tyler love you"

I sighed shakily and closed my eyes. Louis was a great friend. I just can't believe he's gone...just like that. Gone. I don't even know how I'm going to tell Darcy this. Tyler's not going to understand but Darcy will. And the worse thing is that Louis is Darcy's favorite uncle. She'll be heartbroken.

"I hate fucking needles...." A groggily voice said

I opened my watery eyes and looked at Louis

"Lou" I exclaimed "y-your awake!"

He smiled weakly

"I wouldn't leave you guys... Especially Darcy. I miss that little mini me" he said

I chuckled

"The boys are in the next room" I whispered

"Why are you whispering?" He whispered back

I shrugged

"Well....go get them!" He exclaimed

He tried to pick his hand up but if fell to his side, hitting him and making him groan out in pain. I stood up and quickly walked to the next room. They stared at me as I walked in and I didn't waste any time

"Louis' awake!" I exclaimed

Thy all hopped to their feet and quickly rushed out of the door, pushing me to the floor. I rolled my eyes and stood up walking into Louis' room as well

He's back. He's really back

Harry: HE'S OKAY HE'S OKAY!!!!

Niall: what did I miss? Zayn was hogging up the bathroom

Zayn: Hey! The beauty doesn't just come to me ya know! It takes time!

Niall: whatever....

Harry: WHO CARES!! LOUIS' BACK!!!!

Louis: I couldn't stay away from you Hazza!!
