FLASHBACK:
I was laying on the couch talking on the phone with my best friend Leah worrying if Austin was going to ask her to homecoming or not. Leah has been my best friend since I was 5, when we met in kindergarten. We are now in 10th grade and high school has been a little rough with drama but we always have each others back. Austin has been friends with us since 8th grade and he seems to take an interest in Leah but I think he is too shy to admit it.

Now your probably wondering why I am not worried bout a date to homecoming cause I am not going. After my boyfriend of 3 years cheated on me at a party, I have been at home trying to avoid him. Everywhere I go I see him and he tried to talk to me but I don't want to hear it. I have gave him a 2nd chance before we dated for 2 years and he blew that also.

"Leah, I promise you, he likes you." I said reassuring her for the 50th time today.

"Are you sure, cause homecoming is in 5 days and he hasn't asked me yet." She said a little worried.

"He will, trust me, he likes you." I said just when the doorbell rings. "Look I got to go the pizza is here and I got to see if my parents have made it to my brothers college yet." Getting up to grab the money off the counter.

"Ok I will see you tomorrow at school." Leah said. "Bye."

"Bye." I said hanging up and throwing my phone on the couch walking over to the door. See I would have put it in my back pocket (cause my phone is life and it never leaves my side) but I can't cause I'm wearing a black skirt that is flowy and goes mid thigh. With a blue and red flannel crop top with white All-star converses. I check myself in the mirror making sure my long blonde hair looks good in a fish tail braid to the side, my make-up looks on point, and my blue eyes pop out. Hey, you never know a cute guy could work at the pizza place.

As the doorbell goes to ring a second time, I open the door but I do not expect to see what I saw.
