The After Life

It's been a week since I've been back home and I have been better than ever.

We moved back to our old house in Georgia and my brother got a job as a cop here and he is now engaged to his girlfriend Emma.

Lance is living with us while he tries to find some of his family that will take him. We have grown real close and I'm starting to like him but I don't want to date him because it's complicated.

Leah got a modeling contract and in a month she will be flying out to New York to start her photo shoots.

Austin is always hanging out with me and he never wants to leave my side and it's fine by me because I'm used to it. I can tell his girlfriend Connie doesn't like that. She always giving me evil glares like she wantsvto kill me but I don't care she isn't good enough for Austin. To be honest I think Leah and Austin are cute together but I guess it's just my opinion.

I have got an agent now who wants me to start acting and singing and I'm excited but I have to come up with some songs so I can start my career. I have been through many interviews about my experience but I don't mind. People wants to know what happened to me so why not tell them. It's nothing to hide.

"Hey Haley." Austin says while giving me a bear hug.

Lance and I was watching a movie in the living room and Austin had texted saying he was coming over. I guess I was too zoned out to notice he was hear.

"Hey. What's up?" I say hugging him back.

"You and Lance should come hang out with me, Leah, and Connie. Please?" He says sticking his bottom lip out.

"Okay. Just let me get ready." I say and run upstairs.

I go and put on a whim crop top that says, This Is My Happy Hour. Then I put on a pair of black high wasted shorts. I tie a red flannel around my waist and throw on a pair of white all-star Converse's. The high top ones. I go full out on my make up and spray perfume on  I put my phone in my back pocket then go to the bathroom to brush my hair. My hair is now bleach blonde with reddish brown tips.

I walk out and leave my parents a note saying that I will be back late that I'm hanging out with Austin. Then we are off to the movies.

As we get out I can help but to laugh at me and Leah because we are dressed a like. She is wearing a plain white crop top with light blue jean shorts on with a red flannel tied around her waist and a pair of white all-star Converse's. The high top ones. Her hair is a brown with purple tips now.

Connie just scoffs at us and goes to hug up on Austin but he isn't paying attention to her. He is also laughing along with Lance on how me and Leah are dressed alike and we didn't even planned it.

Connie is wearing a pair of black skinny jeans with a grey tank top and a blue jean jacket over it. She has a pair of grey keds on. Her hair is now black with bright red under neath it.

Austin told me that she felt like she wasn't fitting in with us so she changed her hair. I don't know why but Lance said she was really weird and I believe him too. I don't even know where Austin met her either.

"Austin why couldn't it just be me and you. Why did you have to bring them especially that little bitch." Connie said while jabbing her finger in my direction.

"They are my friends. I thought we could all go and hang out with out you being so hateful." Austin said getting angry.

"I'm fine with Leah and Lance. Just not with her. She is the problem." She said while giving me a disgusting look.

I decided I had enough and so I stepped in.

"Excuse me. I don't know what I did to make you hate me but these are my friends and I don't know where you came from but you can gladly do back. No one wants you here as you can see. They will always choose me over you. No I'm not taking Austin from you. We are just really close. Connie you need to stop like for real." I say getting fed up with her.

"You will never talk to me like that. You're a bitch. No wonder you were kidnapped. I wish you still were too. Everything was fine until you decided to come back. Why couldn't you just die like you were supposed to." She said so evil.

Wait like I was supposed to. What is she talking about? I look at Lance and his eyes were wide and he was looking at me.

"Yeah Lance why don't you tell her. Or should I be the one. You choose." She said with anger in her voice.

"Haley. I'm sorry. She was in in it. I didn't know she was until she texted me. I didn't know how to tell you. You have to believe me on this. Tiger always said that he had a secret weapon but I didn't think he meant her. I didn't want to make you upset so I never told you." He said while pleading me with his eyes.

"Okay look I don't like you because of what you did to Haley and I especially don't like how she is letting you stay with her when in reality you should be dead with the rest. So keeping this from her is making me extremely mad. Connie we are done. I want you and Lance out of here. NOW!" Austin said now getting mad too.

"Baby it's not like that. I love you." Connie said.

"Well he obviously don't love you. Now get the hell out of here for you wind up in the hospital skank." Leah said getting up in Connie's face.

I didn't say anything else. I couldn't. I can't believe Lance kept this from me. I thought I could trust him but I can't. I shook my head and Leah and Austin wrapped there arms around me.

"Haley I will be at the house with your family. I'm truly sorry." Lance walked away.

"Oh you will pay for this Haley." Connie said then she stormed away.

I thought everything was fine but I guess not.
