Breathe

Flashback

FLASHBACK 1:

   Pain. That's all I felt. I knew I was giving up. The only person I trusted here betrayed me.

"No! I am going home." I say angry pushing him to get up.

   I push him out of my way and stand up heading to the door, when hands get wrapped around my waist turning me around trying to prevent me from going out the door.

     "Lance get off." I say trying to get out of his grip.

   I accidentally elbow him in the face.

     "YOU BITCH!" He growled at me.

   He throws me on the ground and kicks me in the side. I groan in pain and curl up into a ball. He comes and slaps me in the face while I yelp in pain. I trip him an  start fighting back. I hear people running up the steps and come and get me off Lance taking me out of the room I woke up in.

FLASHBACK 2:

   "Your name is Haley. Those people you call parents aren't your real parents. Your real mom and dad moved to California with your brother. Your real brother is in college. You were abducted about a year and a half ago." Austin said rambling.

   I just shake my head no. This can't be right. He must have me mistaken for someone else.

FLASHBACK 3:

   After a while later, 4 people came in and I gasped. I notice that it was the guy who was drunk on the couch, the couple who was in the bed, and Lance. As I take a look at all of them; I remember that woman. Her hair wasn't red and pink now. She died it purple.

   These weren't people who were going to help me. These were my kidnappers. They all came at me, punching and kicking me with all their might. I couldn't stop them They were too strong. The only thing going through my mind was that this is it. I was going to die. Also the fact that Lance took me back to these people. He lied to me. He wasn't getting me help. He was doing his job. He betrayed me. Then everything seemed to go black.

FLASHBACK 4:

     "Thank you for everything Haley." Lance says.

   Haley? Who is that? Why did he call me Haley?

     "Why did you call me Haley? My name is Hope." I asked.

FLASHBACK 5:

     "It's true, I would never lie to you. We were best friends. Please you have to remember." Austin said pacing back and forth getting upset.

PRESENT HOPE'S POV.

   Everything came back. My memory came back. I remember everything. Austin was right. This whole time I was being lied to. Lance is the real enemy. These people aren't my parents and I'm stuck living with them. I need to get out of here. My real family is in California and I'm in Australia so how?

   I open my eyes to see Lance, my "mom", and "step dad" all standing around me with worry eyes. I know they don't care about me truly but I will get revenge.
