Daysia's POV💕

I woke up to the smell of dressing,and turkey. Its officially Thanksgiving and four days since I gave birth to Egypt. It was her first thanksgiving and she was home,Chris and I were more than overwhelmed with her here now. I sat up in bed and stretched before getting up and going to the bathroom to do my morning hygiene.

After I was done,I put my hair in a high ponytail and slipped into a regular orange T-shirt, blue high-waisted ripped jeans,and some white and black Adidas. I walked out of the bathroom and I noticed that Egypt was not in her crib,also I heard voices besides Chris's downstairs.

"What the hell..." I mumble to myself as I head down the steps to the kitchen. Once I got down there,the first thing I saw was another girl I've never seen in my life....holding MY child.

I guess Chris saw me before everyone else did because he got up and pecked my lips before saying good morning to me. I examined the kitchen seeing all women,one looked very familiar.

"Uh...babe you mind telling me what's going on?" I asked trying not to be rude.

Before he could respond the familiar one turned around and glanced at me. Once she turned around to finish cooking she paused and turned around again. She looked me up and down in shock like she seen a ghost.

"Daysia...?" The lady said. I furrowed my eyebrows together. Okay I don't know if this lady is family but...how did she know my name?

"Um...hi-" I paused trying to remember her name.

"Why ya' just standing there?! Come hug ya' mama girl!" She exclaimed holding her arms out. My eyes widened like I seen a ghost. But hell...I did. I haven't seen my mother in a whole year and seeing her today is just...unimaginable.

I slowly walked to her and embraced her into a hug that I've been yearning for since I got pregnant with Egypt. See,when I was with Dwayne we were together in New York where my mother was until he got into a fight with my mother and she made me choose to stay in new York with her or go ruin my life by coming to Atlanta with Dwayne.

Obviously,you see which one I chose.

"You don't know how much I missed you ma. I'm sorry I left. I'm sorry I chose Dwayne over you. I was so vulnerable and dumb that I let my pride think for me." I confessed shedding tears as I hugged her tighter. She rubbed small circles on my back,comforting me.

"It's alright honey. You were blinded by love and couldn't see anything wrong with supporting the ones you love. But I had to teach you a lesson Daysia,that's why I let you leave. That's the only reason I let you go." She said making me cry harder.

After hugging her for a while,we both released each other and wiped our eyes.

"Uhm...gosh. I was not expecting myself to cry today." I joked making everyone else laugh. I laughed also,spotting Egypt. I guess one of Chris's relatives were holding her and seemed like she could never let her go.
