"Ugh I hate being pregnant! Just look at my feet August! Their even more swollen than before,and I can't see them anymore when I stand." I whined. August chuckles at me.
"I told you to stop walking around the place,but noooo. Hardheaded ass."
"It's not my fault she was kicking me too hard for my liking. Geez."
"Why do you keep saying 'she'? You haven't thought of any names yet and you less than 2 months from your birth date?" He asked. I shrugged my shoulders.
"I don't know. I mean...I was thinking of some at one point...but I stopped."
"Well..how about we think of some to take your mind off of your inflatable feet." He joked.
"August." I growled at him.
"I'm playing damn,chill. Now,how about....Aria,or...Gia...maybe even Kylia?"
I scrunched my face up at the last one.
"Kylia? Hell no. How about....Irene?
He shook his head no.
"YazMina?"
I shook my head no.
"Porsha?"
"The fuck? No." I laughed.
He sucked his teeth.
"Man..." He trailed off. We both sat in the middle of my bed thinking.
"Oooou I got it!!" We both said in unison.
"No I had it first!" We said doing it again.
"You go first." He insisted.
"No,I wanna see what dumb ass name you came up with this time. You go first."
"Ight I tell you what...on the count of three we gonna say the name we came up with."
"Bet."
"Ight. One." He began.
"Two..."
"Three!"
"Gwen!" He said.
"Chelsia!" I said.
"Oh hell no.." We said at the same time.
Aleah walked by sticking her head in the door.
"Hey geniuses, instead of arguing on what the name is gonna be,name her Lanessa." She said before leaving.
August and I sat there for a while,deciding on if we should just name her that.
"Hmm. Whatchu think? Would you like to be named Lanessa?" I asked the baby. She responded by sending a hard kick.
