Robotic Heart (Genos x Reader)

Appreciation

"(y/n), where did you—" Genos was mid sentence when you came up on your toes and pecked him on the cheek. You then walked off to whatever you were doing like nothing ever happened. Genos was confused but decided not to make a big deal out of it as you would usually do weird things throughout times.

"(y/n), this weapon has +6 defense and doubles your healing factor."

"But it's ugly."

"Just get the damn weapon, woman!"

"No!"

You and Saitama were sitting in front of the couch playing 2 player games while he was trying very hard to get you to upgrade your beautifully designed sword. The argument was going on for a long period of time and Genos was getting a little irritated from hearing it. He finally had to get up and go over to see what the hell you two were talking about.

"(y/n), you're gonna get us killed!"

"I have faith in my weapon!"

"What are you two doing?" Genos popped in from the kitchen.

"Genos! Tell your girlfriend to upgrade her stupid sword!"

"I'm not doing shit!"

You suddenly looked as if you remembered something and quickly scurried to your feet. You ran up to Genos and again planted a kiss on his cheek before going back to sit next to Saitama.

The bald man glanced between the two of your strangely wondering what brought that on. Genos was just as surprised as he was. Unfortunately, they didn't get the chance to question you because you had selected to start the mission without a change in weaponry. Saitama sat up attentively and yelled at you for getting ahead of yourself.

Genos looked at your calm expression trying to figure out what was going on in your head, something he thought he would never find out. He shook his head and went back to what he was doing before.

Later that day, Genos was at the table reviewing over some of his notes that he took while Saitama was talking to him when you walked in. You glanced over his shoulder quietly and slowly began to lean in.

Genos knew you weren't trying to be super stealthily but he found it funny how you were still sneaking up on him. You quickly looked at him before pecking his cheek and running out of the room. Genos sighed not knowing what to do with you.

What were you doing? He knew it wasn't strange for a partner to show affection but you were being a lot more loving than usual and he didn't know how to react to that. Did this mean something bad? He hoped not. But then what the hell were you up to?

It was now the late at night and Genos was wasting away time on the couch watching TV while Saitama snored on the floor with a manga over his face. He felt himself getting drowsy too when you also came into the living room yawning. Genos couldn't help but notice your short shorts revealing your smooth legs and the loose fitting shirt that hung careful on your shoulders.

You came up beside him and rested your head on his thigh while you spread yourself out on the couch. His hands came up to your head and starting gently stroking your hair. You sighed contently while his fingers softly ran themselves through your locks giving you an immense sensation of relaxation.

After a little while, you suddenly sat up. Genos was a startled by the action but that soon changed to confusion when you crawled on top of him. You placed yourself on his lap, keeping him caged in between your legs. You then smiled happily and press your lips on his.

Genos melted into this kiss with a passion you did not expect from him. His lips moved in unison with yours, completely overtaken by the sweet softness of your skin. His hands traveled up your thighs and folded onto the small of your back to pull you in closer. You licked his bottom lip, asking for an entrance that he easily granted. You slipped your tongue into his mouth and you both fought for dominance against this war of love.

The only let down was that you both had to come back up for air. You had left Genos was left breathless as he struggled to taking in gulps of oxygen up to his brain.

"I'm not complaining about your actions today, but why are you doing this?" He finally questioned.

You cocked your head to the side. "What are you talking about?"

"I mean, what's up with the random kisses today? I don't mean to sound rude but you're acting weird," Genos said quietly.

You smiled broadly. "I just wanted to thank you."

"Thank me?"

"Yeah," You nodded, a blush growing on your cheeks. "I wanted to show you how glad I am to have you. I consider myself one of the luckiest people in the world because you agreed to go out with me of all people. I-I..... I just...." Your eyes became glassy with tears of happiness. "I want you to know that I love you, and that I appreciate having you in my life."

Genos's hands cupped your cheeks and pulled you down for a chaste kiss. "(y/n), I love you. Hearing you say this reminds me of how much I've fallen for you." He rested his forehead against yours and sighed. "I love you so much, and know that I am just as thankful to have you with me."

Genos tilted his head upwards and captured you into another kiss. This time it was filled with the love and affection that devoured him anytime he was around you. It was a kiss that poured out all his emotions in this one single movement.

His lips were like fire on yours, yet you didn't want them to stop. They were soft and rough at the same time and you loved it to no end. By the final loss of air, you leaned back slowly while Genos gently released your bottom lips from his teeth.

Now it was your turn to be at a fault for words. He could only smirk playfully as he gazed at your reddened, shocked expression.

"I love you, (y/n)."

"I love you, too."
