"I don't know what to tell you, Genos," Dr. Kuseno sighed as he cast a quick glance at the cyborg's analysis and test results. "It seems you're under a lot of stress. If it gets any higher, it will take a great toll on your brain which in turn affects your performance...."
Genos groaned tiredly as he ran a hand through his hair. "I'm sorry, Doctor...I've been having trouble balancing some things out lately."
"No doubt. With the move you and (y/n) just made from Saitama's apartment, keeping up with bills, and providing in the household, and your and (y/n)'s hero jobs....it must be difficult."
"(y/n) takes it a lot better," Genos admitted, slouching as he sat on the medical table. "She's always so optimistic...she's the one keeping me from completely spiraling into chaos."
"Then maybe you should talk to her, seek some advice," Dr. Kuseno suggested. "(y/n) would be more than willing to help you, Genos."
"Speaking of which, this is her," Genos said as the phone in his pocket buzzed with a message from you.
(y/n): You coming home soon?
Genos: Be there in a bit.
"I have to get going, Doctor," Genos announced as he shoved the phone back in his pocket and leapt off the table.
"Alright, just remember, take it easy, Genos. The brain is a very fragile thing and it needs to be taken care of," Dr. Kuseno warned. "Find a way to relieve your stress."
"I will, Doctor," Genos nodded with a final glance at the old man.

You hummed quietly to yourself as you scanned the fridge for the millionth time. You were searching for anything that you could make into something. You didn't go grocery shopping this week and you needed to work with what you could. But every time you shut the fridge and rummaged through the shelves, your luck never improved.
"(y/n)?" You heard Genos's voice from the living room as well as the door closing. You gave up your scavenger hunt for the moment and went to greet the cyborg.
You gave him a small smile and wrapped your arms around his neck as he placed his hands on your hips and kissed your cheek. "Welcome back," You said. "How do you feel about take-out tonight?"
"I'm not really hungry," He dejected.
You frowned and cupped his face. "Are you okay? You look tired."
"I am." Genos gently rest his forehead on your shoulder and sighed, "I'm apparently suffering from severe stress levels."
"You're what!?" You lifted his head off of you and looked into his eyes. "Genos, what are you stressing about?"
"Stuff here. Work. Everything," He shrugged.
"And what did Dr. Kuseno say?" You asked, knowing that Genos had gone to the Doctor for his physical check.
"He said I need to relieve stress or else it'll affect my state," He blew the hair out of his eyes.
"Maybe you should take some days off," You suggested.
"No," The cyborg answered immediately. "That would only make me more anxious to get things done."
"Genos, you need to take care of yourself," You urged as you pulled him closer. "I know you want to always be on top of things but you have to think of yourself too."
