A/N: Hey, guys, it's been a bit. I just wanted to let you know there's a heated situation in this chapter. Fair warning. Now please enjoy the chapter!
Natalie's POV
The next morning in first period, I was not bothered by Nic, which made me extremely happy. The class period went peacefully and normally, until the end, that is. Right as I began to pack up after the bell rang, the teacher stood from her desk and looked at me, then to Nic whom was still sitting in the back of the room, no doubt watching me.
"Natalie, would you mind staying for a moment?" I could feel the surprise on my face as I looked up at her and nodded, placing my bag over my shoulder. "You too, Nicky."
Nic was about to stand and leave the room as I glanced over my shoulder at her before she groaned and sat back down. "What? I have classes to ditch, people to ditch with. They're probably waiting for me right now." I watched as the teacher rolled her eyes and met Nic's.
"You are failing my class, and I don't like it when students fail my class. So, I want to help you not fail." Nic rolled her eyes and groaned again before the teacher looked over at me, which only told me bad things were going to happen. "You're a tutor, aren't you, Natalie?"
I nodded softly, beginning to say something along the lines of "I only tutor elementary kids", but she cut me off before I could.
"Natalie will tutor you." As she said the words that confirmed my suspicions, my face paled and Nic's lit up like a Christmas tree.
"You know, I was actually looking for a tutor. I want to take English seriously, it's one of my better classes." That statement was an obviously lie, but the teacher didn't seem to notice.
"Great, when you set up the study dates are up to you two. That is all." Even before she was even finished speaking, I was out of the room and into the hall. And Nic was right behind me.
"So, babe, when should we have this date?" I whirled around to face her with a bright red face.
"Study date! It's a study date!" She just smirked, her perfectly white teeth stunning me for a split second.
"Sure, 'study' date." I glared at her for a moment before turning and walking away.
"After school in the library." With that, I left her in the hall to get to my next class on time. As soon as I made it in, I sat heavily in my seat and let out a deep sigh. I rest my head in my hands and watched the teacher move about the classroom, before leaving the room. I think much about it, I mean, teachers left their room all the time to get things copied and such. So, when Nic walked in and shut the door, I instantly knew I was in trouble.
"Wh-what do you think you're doing?" I stood, preparing to escape, but she was one step ahead of me. She trapped me against the desk, arms on either side of me and her head leaning in closed to mine. From the close position we were at, I could see that her pale skin around her light green eyes, her right having a small bit of pink in it, that seemed so clear actually had light freckles dusting it.
"Getting what I want, babe, and that's you." A slight gasp escaped my lips before she smashed hers against them. My eyes instantly widened at the contact, before they closed. The feeling of her lips against mine made my head spin and my heart pound at an unhealthy pace. My arms went up and around her neck without me knowing as her hands started to roam my body. I felt her run them across my sides and back before resting then on my shoulder ladies.
"Nic..." She broke the contact of our lips to move them down to my neck, where she slowly kissed downward."Natalie... Natalie. Natalie!" I jolted up in my seat, looking up at the teacher in front of me. I quickly looked around the room to find everyone was gone and the wall clock said that class was over. Oh, God, I slept through class.
"I-I'm so sorry, miss..." I shot out of my seat and gathered my things before rushing out of the room, my face bright red. God, what was wrong with me? I fall asleep in the middle of class, and have a dream about Nic? Why was this happening?! I'm straight, god dammit!
I sighed deeply, feeling dread set in as I spotted Nic at the end of the hall. She looked over at me, her hair mostly hidden by her black beanie except for her bangs, which poked out over her eyes. I met those alluring eyes as she smirked and winked at me, making my cheeks go an even darker crimson than they already were. I had to tutor her after school.Something told me there wouldn't be any tutoring.
