Chapter 11

(A/N sorry you guys for taking such a long time to update. I've just been having writers block) 

The old ladies to the side

Justin and I stop dancing and it's time for us to leave. Justin and I kiss good bye and don't exchange numbers.

I guess it was just a one day sorta thing. I'm fine with that.

We go back to campus and go to our rooms to change and get out of our bathing suits. I change into some legging and a cute t-shirt.

It kinda reminds me of the 80s.

I go downstairs and walk with the girls to the Cafeteria. We get some pasta and sit down. The topic somehow moves to Justin.

"He was so hot!!" Scarlette exclaims.

The other girls nod in agreement. "I was so jealous of you." Maya says. We stop talking about Justin and start talking about boys back home.

"So have you talked to Jake recently?" London asks.

I smile and nod. "We talk every night." I tell them.

Lies.

I haven't talked to Jake since I got here. He's probably cheating on me with one of my friends. It's happened before.

I don't really care though, he can do whatever he wants as long as we stay together and my butt's covered.

We change subjects and I forget about Jake. Our conversation quiets down as we start exiting.

When we enter a play room it's like a brand new room. There is a dance floor, a bunch of junk food, board games, and a whole bunch of games and sports set up.

I stand in awe when Maya says "This looks totally lame."

I turn towards her and say "I think it looks pretty cool." Maya goes red and the other girls glare at her. "You're right. It does look pretty awesome." Maya mutters.

The counselors give us a few ground rules and set us free. The girls and I move over to the Wii and are about to finish out 3rd songs when I feel a tap on my shoulder.

I look over it and see an older lady behind me. "Ashlynn Granton?"

I nod my head. "Can we speak alone?" She asks me.

I nod my head again and she leads me over to about 9 older ladies and Kelsey. "Hi Ashlynn." One of the ladies says to me.

I smile and look at Kelsey questioningly. Kelsey doesn't make eye contact with me and one of the old ladies starts talking to me.

"Um Ashlynn. It has come to our attention that you have been having relations with a counselor. I take a deep breath in and quickly glance over to Kelsey.

What have we gotten ourselves into?

The old lady continues. "We just wanted to ask you your side of the story. Be honest with us. Tell us what's going on with you and Rayne." I breath out.

Thank God. They didn't find out about Kelsey and I.

I open my mouth for the first time and say "Well whatever Rayne and I did was consensual." I wasn't trying to get this girl arrested.

One of the ladies nods and says "We understand that, but if anything happened between you and Rayne, Rayne can no longer be a counselor here. Now I know this is a very hard decision for you, but I need you to be completely honest with me. Have you and Rayne been romantically involved?"

I bite my lip and look to the ground. I whisper a slight yes, but the ladies hear it.

They nod.

A diffrent one says "Okay, thank you for being honest with us. Now is there any proof that anything has happened, any hardcore evidence that something happened?"

I huff and raise my head. I look over at Kelsey and she's glaring at me. I quickly change where i'm looking and meet a lady's gaze.

"Is there evidence Ashlynn." She asks me once again.

I roll my eyes and say "Yeah, I guess. I mean she took a picture on her phone, but she could have deleted it. The picture wasn't of anything bad either, it was just me kissing her."

The ladies nod and say "Thank you for your honesty Ashlynn. You can go back to enjoying your night."

Then they leave, with Kelsey.

I breath out and join the girls at the phoos table. "What was that about?" Scarlett asks me. I just shrug.

She rolls her eyes and says "Well you made us lose the game."

We play around for about an hour when I just causally look up and see Rayne talking to the same old ladies that I was talking to.

Her face drops and she hands the ladies her phone. The ladies all look at the phone for a while and Rayne stands there uncomfortably.

The ladies say something to Rayne and she starts arguing with the ladies. Rayne gets louder until she's shouting.

" I'M NOT GONNA QUIT BECAUSE OF THAT STUPID LITTLE BITCH!!!" Everyone quiets down and all the attention is on her.

Security comes and takes Rayne out while she's still screaming. The ladies tell us to go back to our business and after a few minutes Rayne is long forgotten.

I go to the downstairs bathroom and when I wash my hands Kelsey comes in.

I stop her as she's walking to the toilet. "Hey, did you tell on Rayne?"

Kelsey nods her head and I say "What were you thinking Kelsey?" All I could think about is how Rayne doesn't have a job now.

"I was thinking about how I was saving your ass." Kelsey says back sassily.

"I can take care of myself, Kelsey." I say.

Kelsey rolls her eyes and says "Well apparently not since I knew about you and Rayne."

I huff and say "Of course you knew. I mean it's not like you weren't with me 24/7 anyways."

Kelsey steps out of the stall and says " I'm trying to look out for you Ashlynn. For once could you not be such a bitch and be thankful."

I roll my eyes and say "You got her fired Kelsey!!! SHE DOESN'T HAVE A JOB BECAUSE OF YOU KELSEY!! WHAT IF SHE REALLY NEEDED THE MONEY!!!"

Kelsey rolls her eyes and says "Trust me, SHE doesn't need the money. Now can you just give me a kiss or at least a thank you for looking out for you. I didn't even say anything about you whoring around" I roll my eyes and flick her off.

Kelsey laughs and says "Love you too." I huff and stand with my hand on my hip.

Kelsey clears her throat and says "Well can you leave now. I have to pee and you're freaking me out. I want to give you some time alone since you feel like i'm with you 24/7." She says mocking me.

I flick her off one last time and leave the bathroom.

As I leave Kelsey blows a kiss to me. I try to suppress a smile that comes up on my lips. She's just so annoying and irritating.

It's kinda cute.
