Chapter 13

Ashlynn's mom to the side

I wakeup slowly and walk over to my mirror.

I see a huge red hand print on my face. So I guess last night wasn't a dream.

I quickly pick out my outfit before putting on a heap of makeup. No one especially my mom can know that I got slapped.

I go downstairs to the play room to see that almost everybody was down there. "I see that you girls are excited to see your families today." A random lady shouts. "Well they're gonna be here waiting for you right when you get back from breakfast."

London and Maya can't keep their mouths shut all during breakfast. I get tired of the giggling before says "CAN YOU JUST SHUT THE HELL UP!"

The whole cafeteria goes silent.

For the rest of breakfast my group stays quiet. No one dares to utter a word.

We all go back to the play room, and as we are nearing I finally realize that i'm gonna see my mom today. Oh,crap!

As soon as I entered the room I get eloped into a hug. I roll my eyes, but hug back. "Hi baby!" My mom says with excitement. "Hi mom." I mutter back.

She pulls away from me and someone else hugs me.

His scent is familiar and so is his height. "Hi babe." I mutter into his shoulder. "I missed you baby." Jake says as he pulls back. "How did you-?"

Jake cuts me off with a kiss. He goes and tries to make it deeper, but I pull away.

Jake smirks as he looks all over my body.

We keep eye contact for a while until my mom clears her throat. "Sorry to interrupt you lovebirds, but one of the ladies said we could go to your dorm."

Jake and I hold hands the whole way to my dorm. As I am going to my room I see Kelsey walking towards Jake, myself, and my mom.

I try to speed up, but she catches us. "Hi are you Mrs.Granton?" Kelsey asks. My mom nods her head and smiles at me. "Has my Ashlynn been good?"

Kelsey laughs at this question. She doesn't even answer it, instead she turns to Jake and says "And who may this be?"

Jake bites his lip and look to my mom. My mom laughs a bit before saying "Promise not to tell anyone, but this is Ashlynn's boyfriend, Jake. These two lovebirds can't be away, so I knew I had to bring them together. Don't you see how in love they are?"

Kelsey smirks a bit and nods her head before saying  "Well my name is Kelsey, and I'm Ashlynn's teacher. Let me tell you Ashlynn is something."

My mom laughs and before they can talk anymore I pull my mom and Jake into my room.

We all sit in there talking for a while when my mom stands up and says "I'm gonna give you two some time alone. You guys look like you need it."

I smile at her as she leaves. "So hey baby." Jake says as he pulls my into his lap.

We sit there making out for a while when I hear a knock on my door.

I quickly adjust my top and answer it to see Kelsey. Before I can question her she says "It's time for lunch. Your mom is already in the cafeteria, go invite you boyfriend."

I can hear the coldness in her voice. Yep, she's pissed.

I shut the door without saying or making a sound. I somehow get Jake to come with me with alot of persuading.

He just wanted to hang out in my room and make out. We get there and I sit down by my mom. She doesn't make any eye contact with me.

I try to figure out what was wrong when I feel a tap on my back.

I look up and see Kelsey. I bite my lip but agree to go with her. "What?" I ask with attitude. "I just wanted to know that I let your mom know about the real you."

I look at her questionably "What do you mean, by the real me?" Kelsey smiles a bit before saying "That you were into girls of course. I showed her pictures to prove it."

My mouth opens a bit and I can feel the tears starting to come. How dare Kelsey do that. She doesn't have the right.

What did I do to piss her off that much. I'm so pissed. I walk away. I will not let Kelsey get the satisfaction of seeing me crying. I walk past the counclers wiping my tears and leave the cafeteria.

I sit on the side walk for a while, just crying when I feel a tap on my shoulder.

I look behind me to see Maddie there.

I'm gonna make Kelsey pay! "Are you okay?" Maddie asks with concern.

I wipe my eyes and says "Kelsey broke up with me" Maddie looks at me with confusion and asks "What?"

I huff and say "You know the councler here Kelsey. Well we had a relationship, like I would sleep with her and she called me her girlfriend. I once even talked to her mom. Well she broke up with me. She said that she didn't want to be with a little kid."

Maddie looks at me with shock in her face. "Wow, I can 't believe Kelsey would do that." She says keeping her composure.

Maddie looks around before saying "I could go talk to Kelsey for you about you two getting back together." 

I nod my head and sniffle before saying "Really, you would do that for me?" Maddie nods her head and smiles. "Kelsey's a bitch for breaking your heart like that. I'm gonna go and find her now."

Kelsey just started a war.
