Thomas and I play with Posey for awhile, before I go in the bathroom to shower. I shave my legs, under my arms, and for the first time - down there. I knew I should, knowing what Thomas and I had planned for later. I dry off, and wrap a towel around myself. I poke my head outside.

"Tom," I whisper. He looks up at me, his eyes widening.

"Can we do it now?" I laugh.

"No. I just forgot my clothes. Can you leave the room for a sec?" He nods, and gets up, going out the door and closing it behind him. I walk over to my dresser and pull out one of my new bras - one with black lace on it. I grab the matching thong and pull them on. It would surely drive Tom crazy. I pull a t-shirt on and pull on my leggings. I put Posey on his leash, and have him walk with me to find Tom. I walk to the cafeteria, and find him sitting at a table, talking to Chuck and Newt.

"Where'd you get a dog?!" Chuck asks, coming over to pet it.

"From the pens. I don't know how twisted you've got to be to eat a puppy, but apparently the creators wanted us to," I pick him up and sit down next to Thomas. Chuck and Newt pet our new puppy.

"You guys got to find a way to keep him quiet at night. Gladers'll protest if they don't get sleep,"

"Even all those tough guys can't resist a puppy. Except Winston, apparently,"

"So what's it's name?"

"Posey," I say.

"Where'd you even get Posey?"

"I said Heckles," Tom says.

"Yeah. Like Heckles suits him better,"

"I think Fluffy suits him pretty well," Chuck says, we all glare.

"I was kidding," He says. "But we need something to connect him to the glade,"

"Glade," Tom says.

"No!" Newt and I say at the same time.

"Posey'll be a temporary name until we think of something better,"

"What about Ben?" Chuck says. We all look up at him.

"He was a good guy. Until he got stung," Newt says.

"Thomas didn't know him, and it's his dog more of it is yours," I say.

"True. What about - "

"Lights out!" Alby yells across the glade. Chuck gets up and gets to his hammock quickly. Thomas looks at me, smiles rather big, and runs back to the homestead.

"What's up with him?" Newt asks as we walk back.

"Oh nothing. Just excited to cuddle," I say.

"Cuddle ... sure,"

"Really!" I insist. He smirks and I roll my eyes, breaking into a jog to get back to my room. I close the door behind me, before remembering that Posey's gonna need a place to sleep. I groan.

"I'll be right back. I'm gonna go grab a couple blankets," I say. He smirks.

"For Posey!" I say.

"Oh," he says, blushing a bit. I kiss his cheek and run out to the storage shed, grabbing a couple blankets.

"We don't want him jumping on the bed when we're ... you know..." I lay down a stack of blankets in the bathroom, and pick up Posey, placing him on top of them. He circles around and lays down.

"Good boy," I say. I kiss his head and close the bathroom door.

"Now?" Tom asks.

"There's no way the gladers are asleep by now. A little longer, babe," I whisper, placing a hand on his neck. He drops his hands to my thighs and picks me up. I wrap my legs around him, and my arms go around his neck.
