Prologue

Akira's POV

Rize was always such a cheerful are outgoing person. Sure her human act was very annoying at times , but she was my sister and she did what she needed to do to get her prey. I on the other hand was a whole different story. I couldn't comprehend the life forms called humans. Their emotions are too complex. I've keen researching them for a while now. Things such as sadness , grief, suffering, pain, happiness, love, and trust are useless to me. They only hinder the human race from advancement. I have even captured two human a few weeks ago. One male and one female that is what my research has consisted of. I would see what would make them tick. They kept asking for freedom and for mercy and there supposed ' God ' . But sadly no matter how much I tortured them they thought they would find a way out and that ' God ' would save them. Tch! They were so pathetic and useless! I ended killing them both and feeding off of them. But enough with my experiments let's continue with my life. My sister and I were always together. Ever since mother and father died we were always together. So naturally I was somewhat saddened when I heard that Rize died and her organs were given to a weak and useless human boy. Ever since then I've been murdering humans more rapidly in hopes to find him and gouge out Rize's organs from his body. It failed miserably. I ended up being hunted down by the CCG. They called me ' The ( killer ) Kira ' . I was a SSS ranked ghoul. I ended up bleeding out in a dark dead ended ally way. I knew that this was the end for me. While I laid there dying I kept looking back at my life. " W ...h .....y ... Why was this happening to me? " I began to close my eyes wondering what the next place I woke up in would be like. Maybe my next life won't be filled with so much death and destruction. I thought in ignorant bliss.

Once I woke up I heard voices. They consisted of a small girl , a small boy , and two adults. I looked and saw three brunettes and ravenette looking over me. " Who are you people? " The woman named Carla Jeager introduced herself , her husband , and children. Her children went out to get some firewood. After they left Carla , Grisha , and I were talking to each other. They kept asking me about myself. " Where were you from and what did you do before this? " " I lived far away from here. I experimented with life forms of sorts and their stimulus. " This perked Grisha's interest. "Really, if that's so may I show you some of my experiments then? " I then nodded then followed him to where he was leading me. "This is what my experiments have been conducted of. " I looked around the room. Pictures of large humanoid creatures filled the walls with labels on them. " " Interesting what are they called? " " Titans. Their weakness is the nape of the neck and the eyes. They are actually quite similar to the human race. " " Humans you say? " " Correct. " " Maybe when I have more time I could show you more but now our time seems to have come to an end. Plus I'm sure my wife would like to get to know you better. " I nodded and started going upstairs with him but when I got up there Carla was scolding Eren about wanting to join the Survey Corps. Unfortunately Grisha had to go. He acted as though he was reluctant to do so. Almost like something was nagging at him and his conscience. Eren said that he wanted me to meet a friend of his but before I went to follow him Carla pulled as if she was scared to let go of me and asked me a serious question I thought no one would ever ask me. " Ms. Akira I know I haven't known you for a while , but it feels as though I've known you for years. You seem like an intelligent and reliable person. Please if anything happens to me please protect my children. " Why was she asking me this the only time I had anything to do with kids was when I was murdering them or their parents. I shook of what my mind was telling me and said sure. After I said that she smiled at me then dismissed me. After I joined up with Eren and Mikasa I saw a small child getting bullied. A small blonde with blue eyes , his name was Armin Arlert. Despite his small size and lack of muscle he was wise beyond his years. Yet for some reason kept staring at me as though he what wondering what I am. Then the peace we had was suddenly shattered when the Colassal Titan crashed through Wall Maria. Doing so it killed many civilians , Eren's mother , and it enraged Eren's will to join the Survey Corps.
