Chapter 7 Escape your Death

Akira's POV

Armin , Mikasa , and I were all trying to make sense of the fact that the child that they new since they were all small children . " I remember hearing the canon shot . . . After that , there was a terrible noise and that shock ! IT'S SO HOT ! ! ! AND WHAT ARE WE DOING INSIDE THIS GIANT SKELETON ! " Mikasa interjected in her usual bored and lack luster expression . " It's Eren . . . He protected us . That's all we need to know for now . " Eren then came into our view . We were shocked . Mikasa's and Armin's eyes became as wide as saucers . " Hey guys are ok ? " These stupid children were getting really over active and started freaking out . Ahhh . Why are humans so irrational ? Then Eren started acting like a bigger idiot than he already is and said ' Let's get out of here ' . I then spoke up disrupting there little idiotic pity party . " Yeah and what would happen if you did try to leave . They would just hunt you down like an animal . And could you even make it over the walls what's your plan . And how will you survive after that ? Mikasa and I can't go on protecting you forever . " Eren and Mikasa then decided to let Armin try to convince the fellow soldiers not to kill us . And my job was to stand guard and make sure Armin wouldn't be attack . From a strategic point of view this was stupid . Their guns and canons could easily obliterate us . Sadly , this was our only choice left that was somewhat logical . Even against an advanced life form like me we were still at a strategic disadvantage . " IT WAS NEVER ABOUT HOW WE SHOULD ACKNOWLEDGE HIM AS IN THE FIRST PLACE ! I UNDERSTAND THAT MANY PEOPLE SAW WHAT HAPPENED ! THEN THEY MUST HAVE SEEN HIM FIGHTING AGAINST THE TITANS AS WELL ! ! AND THEY MUST HAVE SEEN THE TITANS SWARMING AROUND HIM AS WELL ! ! THAT MEANS THE TITANS REGARDED HIM THE SAME WAY THEY CONSIDER US HUMANS , FOOD ! ! NO MATTER HOW WE TRY TO SLICE IT , THAT MUCH IS UNDENIABLE ! ! " Some of the soldiers around us were beginning to agree with Armin and started to question the logic of their commanders . Yet even with all the valid reasons Armin has presented them with he still rose his hand up into the air and ordered his soldiers to attack us with extreme prejudice . Armin and looked back at Mikasa and Eren . I could feel his anger immensely increasing . I dropped my blades and then formed a salute along with Armin while he began to speak . " I WAS , I AM , AND I REMAIN A SOLDIER ! SWORN TO DEDICATE MY HEART AND SOUL TO THE RESTORATION OF HUMAN KIND ! I HAVE NO GREATER AMBITION THAN TO GIVE UP MY LIFE SHOULD IT HELP THAT CAUSE ! ! LET US ADD THAT ' TITAN POWER ' OF HIS TO OUR REMAINING FORCES ! ! WE MIGHT BE ABLE TO RECONQUER THE TOWN THAT WAY ! ! FOR THE HUMAN RACES' GREATEST GLORY ! ! I SHALL USE WHAT LITTLE TIME REMAINS TILL I GO TO MY GRAVE TO ADVOCATE THE STRATEGIC ADVANTAGE THAT HE REPRESENTS ! ! ! " After that the commander began to give the signal to the soldiers manning the canon to fire at us . Until the one who has authority over all of the Garrison and who was considered to be the most responsible of the Garrison , Commander Dot Pixis , has appeared and saved our asses . " That's enough .
