I felt Liam's eyes burning a hole in that back of my head as we watched the movie. Honestly, I get it, the guy wants to protect his baby sister. But seriously? I have one conversation with the girl and all of a sudden he forgets the fact we've been bestfriends for years and sees me as this pervert wanting to jump his sister.
Well you know what, that's not what's going on at all.
Every guy in this house except Liam is a pervert wanting to jump his sister, not just me. So he can share that death glare with Paul and Randy as well.
I ran a hand through my hair and tried to ignor Liam the best I could. I mean, honestly, I didn't do anything wrong. Do I really deserve this sort of harsh treatment?
When the movie was over, Paul turned the lights back on in the TV room and yawned. "Ok guys this is the worst way to start off our summer. I mean movies? Really?" he said. "Let's go to the beach, let's party, let's meet girls!"
"I second that suggestion," Randy said.
"Of course you would," Liam laughed. "Ok, I'm in. I'm bored too so let's go."
We all made our way to our rooms upstairs and changed into our swimming trunks. Granted it was five o'clock in the evening but the sun was still shining and it was still warm.
When we were done changing we walked back downstairs and grabbed some towels and went to the beach. I stopped dead in my tracks when we made it to the beach. Lying on the beach, in a string bikini, was none other than Hannah.
I think my heart stopped beating then.
"What's wrong, Matt? You look like you've seen a ghost," Randy said and clapped his hand on my shoulder. "Or did you just spot a dame?" He looked at my blank and stunned face. "Yep, a dame. Well where is she? If she doesn't suit me maybe I'll let you have a go."
And then he noticed.
And so did Liam. But thankfully, he didn't notice me and Randy gawking at her.
"Oh sweet mother of Jesus I think I'm in love," Randy said. He looked at Liam, who, thankfully, was out of earshot and wasn't paying attention to us. Randy gulped. "Alas, forbidden love." Randy clapped me on the shoulder again. "Matt my boy, it's time you go shopping in another store. Because that's never gonna happen my friend."
I finally snapped out of it. "Oh shut up Randy. I wasn't even going to try."
"Good, because one: she's way out of you legue. And two: even if you did manage that, Liam would kick your a-"
"What are you two Nancy's sitting around for? Let's swim," Liam said.
"That's what I was just telling Matt, Liam."
He nodded and we all walked towards the water. We passed by Hannah sunbathing and I had just enough will power in me to refrain from looking down at her. Even if she was in a very revealing bikini, I didn't feel like having Liam kicking me so hard my nads go up and dissappear forever.
And then she grabbed my ankle. I face planted in the beach sand. Liam and Randy laughed at me and continued to walk away. "Watch where you're walking Matt!" they both said in unision.
"Hey Bartender," Hannah said. "How was your trip?"
"Oh, har-har, very funny," I replied, standing up and brushing sand off of my stomach.
She just smiled that perfect smile of hers. "Hey, while you're here, would you mind putting some suntan lotion on my back?" Hannah said seductively.
I felt my face heat up instantly. The blush raising from my neck to my cheeks to my ears.
"Uh," I started then laughed nervously. I scratched the back of my neck.
She laughed. "Relax Matt I was just kidding."
I wasn't sure if I should be happy about that or totally bummed. Because honestly I was seriously considering lotioning up her back even if it meant I had to say goodbye to my balls.
My face went from beet read to pale. "Oh, ok good."
She patted the space next to her. "Wanna join me?"
I looked over towards the water at the guys. They weren't paying attention to me.
"You know I would but I really should get back to the guys. They kinda need me around, you know?"
She looked over at the guys and laughed. "Yeah, looks like they really miss you," Hannah said sarcastically. "C'mon, sit down. I'm lonely."
"Excuse me? I've been here the entire time!" AJ said loudly. I silently thanked AJ. Hannah was right though, the guys weren't paying any attention to me, they were splashing each other like goons in the water completely oblivious to my conversation with Hannah. Would it hurt if I just sat down for a little bit?
"But you have your headphones in so it's kind of hard to keep a conversation going with somebody who's not even paying attention. Come on Matt! Just for a little bit. Please?"
My head (and other parts of my body) screamed yes. But then that little voice in the way, way back of my head whispered don't do it. Don't go for it. I think it was Liam's voice in the back of my head whispering, "You do it and I kill you. Don't go for it."
I gulped. "I really would love to, but I haven't even went swimming yet. I can't let those guys have all the fun without me."
"Are you saying I'm not fun?"
"No! I mean... I'm gonna go now." I turned around and walked towards the guys. I heard Hannah laughing at me as I turned my back. I felt like sulking, because it's really not that often I get an invite from a pretty girl to sit next to her while she's practically naked.
Man, I really should've taken the offer.
Oh well, too late now. I waded into the water and started to swim and goof around with the guys. Surprisingly, they didn't question what took so long, and Liam didn't give me a death glare. All was well.

Ok, chapter three is up. I like this chapter. Hannah's such a shameless flirt. Ok, not much to say except that the picture on the side (if it worked, because idk) is of Francisco Lachowski who is playing our Matty Boy <3
Please leave a comment below, and don't forget to vote and fan.
