Liam pulled up the driveway in his white van. Smoke spewed out the back and the engine caughed. Liam popped his head out of the driver's side window and banged his hand against the door. "You ready or what, Matty Boy?" he called. Liam opened his door and got out.

My mom gave me a hug. "Be safe, sweety," she said before kissing my cheek loudly. I wiped the lipstick residue she left off of my cheek.

I laughed. "Of course, mom. I'll see you at the end of summer." With that, I gave her a kiss on the cheek and gave my dad a hug. Liam shook hands with my dad and we walked towards his van.

"Don't worry Mrs. P! I'll keep him in one piece!" Liam shouted behind him.

My father laughed. "You do that, Liam. Bye son."

I got into the passenger seat of Liam's van. I instantly leaned the seat back and kicked my feet up on the dash. Because Liam had insisted that we leave super early in the morning, he could deal with the footprints my shoes were bound to make on his dash.

"Hey! Hey; watch the shoes, bro! She's delicate," Liam said loudly. He stroked the car intimately. "Aren't you Denise?" Yes, Liam had named the rust-bucket he called a car 'Denise'. Where he came up with that, I'll never know.

I rolled my eyes. "Yeah, she's really delicate. Whatever, I'm going to sleep. Wake me up when we get there."

He sighed. "You can try to sleep, but I still gotta pick up Paul and Randy. You know they're gonna keep you up and on edge."

"Liam, you're driving puts me on edge. But I'm too tired to nag you about your poor skills at the moment. So shut up, drive, and let me catch some z's."

Surprisingly, I was able to sleep. Even when Liam picked up Paul and Randy, I was able to sleep through it. And in what felt like minutes to me but was actually five hours, we had arrived at our destination.

Liam woke me up, and after a few minutes of groggy confusion, I was able to comprehend what was going on. I grabbed my suitcase from the back of the van and made my way up the steps to the house.

"Man, this is going to be so much fun! No parents, just us guys, for the entire summer," Paul said.

"Nonstop parties, babes, and al-co-hol!" Randy responded. Him and Paul shared a high five.

Liam scratched the back of his neck. "There's one thing I forgot to mention to you guys," he said. "It's not just going to be us guys this summer. My sister is coming up from my mom's to stay with us too. She's bringing a friend and stuff, so I don't think she'll be much of a problem, but yeah."

"Your sister? Ah man! Total buzz kill, that one," Randy said.

Liam narrowed his eyes. "You don't even know her."

"Yeah, but she's your sister. And if she's anything like you, she's gonna be a total-" he paused when Liam took a menicing step foreward. "-a totally awesome person! Just like her big bro." He pounded his chest. "I love you man." Liam rolled his eyes.

"But until she gets here...let's look around the house and get this party started!" With that said, we all cheered.

It has been like this every summer for the past three years. Liam's dad owns a beach house and he lets us guys stay here for the entire summer. As long as he doesn't come up and find the place trashed afterwards, we're pretty much allowed to do whatever we want.

After Liam's parents got divorced, his dad felt guilty about it. So he pretty much baught his son's love with the beach house and he turned a blind eye to the fact that his son knew where he hid the liqour cabinet key.

Thank you Mr. Holmes.

We walked around the house. Even though we have been coming here for the last three years, we never really get over the size of the huge beach house. I mean, it's not exactly a mansion, but it's still pretty big. I mean like... big enought for all three of our families to live in it comfortablely. There's about eight bedrooms in all. All of the bedrooms are upstairs, as well as two bathrooms. There's a bathroom, living room, kitchen, and dining room on the main level, and then there's a finished basement complete with a bar, TV and game room, another bathroom, and another living room. It's a log cabin type house. There's not much of a yard outside, but it's right in front of the lake. There's enough room in the yard for a volleyball net and that's about it.

Not long after we went through the house and picked our rooms (and cracked a few bottles as well), a car pulled up outside.

"Chug! Chug! Chug! Chug!" Paul and Liam chanted as Randy attempted to chug an entire can of beer without stopping. Which isn't really that hard to do but then again we're bored teenage guys with nothing better to do. I was chanting as well until I noticed the car.

"Hey guys someone's here," I said.

Liam looked out the big window and then shook his head. "It's just Hannah." I shrugged and started to chant with Paul again.

"Chug! Chug! Chug! Chug!"

Liam walked to the door to let his sister in. Everything moved in slow motion after she walked into the house. Paul stopped chanting. I stopped chanting. Randy stopped chugging. We all just stood there staring at the supermodel that had just walked in.

Hannah Bradley was a hottie.

Who knew?

"Hey Big Bro! Long time no see," she said, and wrapped her arms around Liam in a tight hug.

With her in the house, this was bound to be a long summer.
