On the road! (Ch 5)

Luke was now in a group with Ken and a few other lads from their year. Luke glanced at Lauren, then decided to walk over. Luke sat down next to Lauren.

"Hey." He said with a smile.

"Hey." She said back.

RECAP OVER

"Hey look, you dont have pretend to be happy when I come over. I know your pretty pissed at Sierra, but trust me, its not like before." Luke said, trying to look into Laurens eyes.

Laurens smile quickly faded. "Oh my god Luke why do you always have to bring it up? To be honest I was excited when you just sat next to me but now you all you talk about is Sierra." Lauren said looking down.

Luke sighed. "Lauren please. I didnt mean to do it. It was her. It was like over a year ago. You know I never felt that way about Sierra." Luke started to get un-patient. Lauren looked up at him. "Luke, I can forgive you, I can be your friend, but I will never feel the way about you like I did last year after what happened." Lauren's eyes were getting teary at this point. She got up to find the rest and left Luke. "Fuck" Luke thought to himself.

What happened last year*

Lauren and Luke were going out for 5 months now. They both liked eachother for years. Their friends kept trying to push them together. Eventually it worked and they were finally so happy together until one night..

"Hahahahah! YES I'm so happy Luke got us this invite to this BOPPING party!" Cara screamed while dancing with Lauren and the squad. "I know yeah! This is so cool!" Lauren screamed back. "There are so many hot fellas in here, I might go for a stroll with Talia." Kayla said, pulling Talia away towards a group of fellas. Talia looked back a mouthed "help me". Everyone laughed. "Here speaking of hot fellas, wheres your fella Lauren?" Courtney said while taking a sip out of her drink. "Oh I dont know I guess I should go find him, wanna come?" Lauren said. "Yeah sure. Might pick up someone along the way." Courtney said jokingly but also winking. Lauren laughed.

"Oh look there he is! Oh shit looks its Sierra as well..whats she.." Lauren said pushing people out of the way at this time, putting a hand over her mouth. "Eh Lauren.. um.." Courtney started to say. but it was too late. Sierra was leaning in on Luke and their lips locked. Whats worse is that Luke didnt bother pushing off Sierra. "Oh my god" Lauren said, starting to cry and covering her face. "Hey listen look.. lets go to the bathroom." Courtney said, taking off her jacket to put it over Lauren to cover her face.

Back to this year*

"So me and Luke just spoke about last year. God why does he always have to bring it up?!" Lauren said nearly shouting. Everyone was leaving the party at this stage. The girls were all going back to Elises' to have a sleepover. "Yeah I dunno. Like we all know he keeps eating himself up over it. The lads say hes changed since it happened. And so have you." Cara said, putting her hand on Laurens back.

"What do you mean?" Lauren said, acting confused but she knew exactly what Cara meant. "Ever since you've been more down. You arent the Lauren we used to know. You need to fix things with him Lauren, you two cant keep going on like this." Cara said with a frown. "Cara.. I know. Next chance I get to talk to him.. How am I going to do this road trip thing? Every time I see him I just want to run away.

I actually hate him." Lauren said, covering her face. At this point Cara and Lauren were in the back of the van talking quietly while the rest were having a mini bus party. "Yeah well I'll be seeing him tomorrow any ways for the road trip." Lauren said. "Yeah you will! Tomorrows a new day!"
