"Round up everyone, we dont know what James is capable of!" Lauren said as Daniel nodded quickly and ran back down the hallway. Luke help Laurens hand and kissed her cheek.
"Dont worry." Luke said as he squeezed her hand. Lauren tried to smile but all she could think of is her friend is some type of danger with James, alone.
RECAP OVER
SEARCHING - 9:03am
"What do you mean ye cant find her?!" Kayla exclaimed as she shouted at the back of the group. They all threw their bags into the van and signed out of the reception. "We cant find her, or James!" Daniel shouted back as he got into the front next to Ken who was driving. "Oh my god you absolute twat." Kayla complained as she plonked onto a seat in the van next to Talia. "We cant blame him. How was he supposed to know James was gonna pull something like this?" Talia said in defence. "Whatever." Kayla rolled her eyes.
"Only problem is, where are we supposed to start? Texas isnt that big but its not that small either." Ken asked as he turned on the engine. Everyone looked at each other for answers.
"They couldn't have gone that far. James doesn't have a car like. Unless they got a taxi or something but I highly doubt Cara would've eagerly jumped into a taxi with him." Courtney pointed out. "Yeah true. Look, this a is a one way road. Lets keep going down this road and see where it takes us." Lauren suggested. Everyone agreed and they started going down a wide road which eventually turned into a narrow countryside road.
"I have a bad feeling about this area." Kayla said. Everyone looked at her. "On second thought.. it could just be that weird looking bagel I had earlier." She smiled sheepishly.
"Nah, Kayla's right. I have a bad feeling about this area too. I mean, why do all the houses here look beaten down and gloomy?" Peyton said as she peeked out the window. "Yeah look, that windows broken!" Stuart gasped as he put his hands on his cheeks. Luke patted Stuart's shoulder and sighed. "Yeah this is fairly dodgy. Maybe we should turn back. I dont think they're down here." Luke suggested. "No! You dont know what James is like! He could take her anywhere and do anything to her! Please, I have a feeling they're around here." Daniel pouted as he looked back at everyone. Luke did a sympathetic smile. "OK."
They travelled down the old road a bit further down and it got mysteriously dark. "This is really scary!" Stuart exclaimed as he hugged Luke. Luke lent back in his seat and sighed as he patted Stuarts head.
"Guys.. there's a car up here and the lights are still on and the engines still running." Ken called back as he slowed down the van. "C'mon, we have to go check!" Daniel shouted. "Daniel, it might not even be them." Ken said calmly. "Yeah, might! What if it is?" Daniel snapped back and he flung open the door as Ken came to an abrupt stop. Everyone in the back went flying forward in their seats.
"What the fuck. Daniel you cant go alone! That house looks fucking abandoned!" Ryan called out as he opened the side door. "Then come with me!" Daniel merely looked back as he ran towards the old rusty looking gates. Ryan rolled his eyes and signalled for everyone to come out.
"Y'know.. I think some people should stay with the van just in case." Talia said quietly. Elise and Charlotte nodded eagerly. "Okay fine, but let some fella's stay behind too so not all of us are going in." Lauren said as she pushed back Jason and Josh. They both groaned as they turned back around and closed the door behind them.
Lauren caught up with the rest who were by the rusty gate. "Jesus, it really does look old. Theres a good few broken windows there." Lauren pointed out.
