The Road Trip

Hiking, Pokemon Go & Cuddles (CH42)

LAUREN - 10:43am

Lauren groaned as she sat up on the bed. She squinted at the window in front of her with the view of the volcano. She held the blanket to her chest then giggled when she thought about last night.

"Luke?" Lauren shouted from her bed, realising he wasn't there. There was no answer. She sighed. She threw on a bathrobe to cover up and slipped into her pink fluffy slippers. She threw her hair into a ponytail by the vanity mirror.

She then noticed a note on the vanity and her favourite flowers, red tulips. The note read:
"Hey gorgeous, I noticed these flowers last night when we were going back to our room. This morning before breakfast I went out to pick them for you X
I'm at breakfast with everyone else, you looked so peaceful sleeping and I figured you probably would've been tired and sore from uhh, last night. Haha sorry X
I'll bring you back something from breakfast.

Lauren squealed excitedly as she picked up the flowers and smiled at them.

When she walked towards the bathroom to get ready, her hips and legs suddenly felt sore. She shook her head and laughed as she slowly walked towards the bathroom.

She washed her face and applied her minimal makeup for the hike. She then put on a sports bra, yoga pants, runners and she put on her NY baseball cap.

She pulled up a chair by the window and sat as she looked out of the window with one of the flowers in her hand as she twirled the stem around.

She sat there for a few minutes, also checking her phone and texting back a few of the group who were joining the hike this morning. She then heard the door unlock.

She turned around quickly and her face lit up when she saw Luke... With food.

"Hiiiii!" She squealed as she hugged him. He smiled as he hugged her back and kissed her cheek. "Hiii." He said back.

"I brought you back a crossiant , toast and a few sausages and juice. Is that okay?" He asked as he put them down on the counter.

"Ooo! Yeah thanks." She smiled as she pulled up her chair to sit by her food. She rubbed her hands together excitedly as she started to dig in.

"I'm gonna go get ready." Luke said as he walked into the bathroom. Lauren briefly turned around and nodded at him with her mouth full off her croissant.

Luke came back out in practically the same outfit, knee length grey shorts, a white vest top , which showcased his amazing muscly body and white runners.

He flopped on the bed and checked his phone. Lauren came back out of the bathroom after brushing her teeth. She flopped onto the bed next to him. She wrapped one leg over his hip and her other arm over his chest.

He put down his phone and yawned and stretched. "I'm having second thoughts on this hike thing." Luke said as he played with Lauren's hair. "Ah cmon, it'll be fun. And we can go exploring!" She said excitedly as she moved away and straddled his lap.

"I'd rather stay here and cuddleeee." Luke pouted as he pulled her down onto his chest. "That sounds like fun, but we said we'd go. Cmon it's nearly 11." Lauren giggled as she kissed his lips quickly  and stood up  and walked to the door. He groaned as he got up.

Lauren was about to open the door but Luke grabbed her hand to stop her. "You sure, this is your last chance." He smirked as he started to kiss her shoulder. "You can cuddle all you want later." She giggled. "I'll want to do other things later though." He smirked. She stopped and looked into his eyes for a moment. His eyes were full of lust.
