STUCK IN THE MUD (CH38)

THE ADVENTURERS - 5:02pm

"Jesus, we've been out a while havent we?" Cara shouted from the top of her lungs to project her voice out over the thunder, wind and lashing rain. "Yeah, maybe we should head back!" Courtney shouted back as she shielded her face from the rain. "My fucking hair is gonna go frizzy now!" Kayla screamed at herself mostly as she was still trying to protect her drenched hair.

"So, anyone know the way back?" Daniel asked as he looked at everyone. Everyone was absoutely soaked and their raincoats were blowing in the wind. "Thought you did!" Ryan shouted back. "Ah Christ lads!" Kayla shouted in annoyance as she stomped her foot in a puddle by accident. She groaned in annoyance.

"Tis this way! I tried leaving crumbs along the way like Hansel and Gretel but the wind blew them away.. wretched wind! But I remember its back this way!" Stuart said as he waved his hand at everyone. They all looked at each other unsure then Cara shrugged. "No one else has any idea so I suppose we'll give it a go!" Cara shouted as she started to trudge along the mud. The tree's around them were creaking and breaking in the strong winds.

"Who's smart idea was it to go into a woods where theres lightning?" Daniel shouted. Suddenly just ahead of everyone, lightning struck a tree and it fell. All the girls and Stuart screamed and hugged each other as the lads stood in shock.

"I wanna go home!" Stuart whined as he clung onto Cara and Cara clung onto him. Daniel snickered at them both and waved at them to catch up.

"You sure this the right way Stu?" Daniel asked as it just looked like they were going deeper into the woods. "I never said I was sure. This is what my instinct was telling me." Stuart said as he crossed his arms and looked at Daniel. Daniel shook his head. "I can tell we're probably gonna be trapped here for a while." Daniel said as he face palmed. "What about Lauren and Luke?" Peyton asked. "Probably having se-" Jeremy was about to say but Daniel slapped his arm and nodded at Peyton who's eyes had just widened and she covered her mouth. Cara was rubbing her shoulder.

"I mean, its true. If you were left alone in there with your lover, I dont think you'd just play a game of charades." Jeremy snickered. "What the fuck is your obsession with Luke and Lauren doing that?" Kayla asked as she made a face. "I dunno, its funny." Jeremy shrugged. "How? Ah just nevermind. Lets go. I'm hungry." Kayla whined as she leant on Talia for support. "Yeah guys, we better go! We're losing her!" Talia said sarcastically as she moved away and Kayla nearly fell into the mud.

"Okay okay, come on troopers! This way!" Stuart said as he saluted everyone and started marching off. "We were heading the other way?" Jeremy said as he pointed the opposite direction that Stuart was marching in. Stuart quickly turned in his tracks. "The other way!" Stuart exclaimed as he pointed the other way and marched on. Everyone giggled as they walked after him.

LAUREN & LUKE -5:16pm

Lauren was laying on top of Luke. The sheet's just were covering the bottom half of their bodies. "That was unreal." Luke said lazily as he starting kissing Lauren's bare shoulder and made his way up to her neck. Lauren felt like she could fall asleep she was so relaxed but exhausted after that as she breathed heavily into the crook of his neck.

Luke started to nip at her neck. "Oh my God..." Lauren quietly said as she wrapped her hands in the pillow. "Jesus, you're so pefect." Luke said as he ran his fingers softly along her back. "No I'm not!" Lauren giggled as she swished her hair to other side so she could turn her head to look at his face as she stayed laying on his chest. She started to trace her right finger along his strongly built collarbone.

"You used to always win every argument. Not this time. Yes you are." Luke said as he looked down at her and smiled. Lauren started giggling as she wrapped her hands around his neck. She was listening to his heart beating softly.
