RECAP

"Um I guess we should start walking and try to find something." Luke said as he ruffled his hair. Lauren let out an annoyed moan by accident as she shut up, embarrassed.

"Lauren you better stop or else we'll be going nowhere."  Luke smirked. "Just kidding, come on." Luke smiled.

"Oh wow, nice one Lauren, you're so cool, totally not making things awkward woo way to go!" Lauren thought sarcastically to herself as she dragged on after Luke.

RECAP OVER

CAMPGROUNDS - 10:30am

Everyone was finishing up their breakfasts and started to put away everything and starting taking down the tents. "So, what're we gonna do about Lauren and Luke?" Jason asked as he put out the fire.

Everyone exchanged glances. "Surely they would've come back here by now if they knew the way back?" Cara said wearily. "Yeah your right, they would've been back by now. Maybe we're just going to have to continue on and just hope we eventually meet them at the next nearest gas station." Daniel said as he finished packing a tent into its holder. "Thats sounds risky lads, what if they come back but we're gone?" Peyton said. "Its a risk we're gonna have to take." Kayla said as she crossed her arms unsure.

"What about the van? Its got no gas in case ye forgot why we were camping here in the first place." Ken said. "We're gonna have to push it. Theres enough people I say we'll be able to do it. No cars pass on this highway anyway." Jeremy answered.

"Okay, so you guys can do that while I go inside the van and sleep." Kayla smiled as everyone looked at her. "Hell no honey, your helping. Now c'mon." Cara said sternly. Everyone gathered their bits and pieces and headed back down the steep hill back to where the van was parked in the cut in the road.

Ryan opened the boot and started loading everything in. "I feel like we're missing something, or someone." Ryan said as he scanned the group. "Well, Luke and Lauren you dumbass." Kayla said playfully. "No, its someone else." Ryan persisted. "I feel it too. I feel like a part of me is missing." Cara said as she looked around too.

"Stuart." Jeremy said as he face palmed himself.

"Ugh whos gonna go up and get him?" Talia said as she rested her hands on her hips.

"I'll go." Ryan said as he shut the boot and started walking back into the woods. Kayla looked after him for a while.

"Wait! I'll come with you." Kayla said as she jogged up after him and waved off the group. "Be back soon."

Cara and Daniel both wiggled their eyebrows at each other before waving at them as well.

LAUREN & LUKE - ON THE ROAD - 11:37am

Lauren and Luke walked along the side of the road with the beach below them. There were zero cars that passed so far. It was sunny and warm thankfully and they both walked quietly before Luke spoke up.

"Wanna play a game?" He said as he smiled. Lauren was interested. "Sure, like what?" Lauren asked as she looked up at him. "I spy?" He suggested. "Really, I spy?" Lauren laughed. "Well have you got any suggestions?" Luke asked. There was a pause for moment.

"No." Lauren said, defeated. "Heh, see my suggestions are always the best." Luke said as he smirked at her. "Yeah yeah, whatever. Who'll go first?" Lauren asked as she looked straight forward.

"You." Luke said. "Oh em jeez, okay." Lauren laughed. "I spy, with my little eye, ehm, something green." Lauren shrugged.

"Ehhmm.. the grass?"

"No."

"The tree's?"

"Gosh darnit! How did you know?" Lauren exclaimed as she threw her arms in the air. Luke smiled at her. "Lucky guess." He said as he looked at the only two green things in the area. "Okay my turn. I spy with my little eye, something yellow."

"The sand?"

"Nope."

"The lines on the road?"

"Nooo."

"The sun!" Lauren exclaimed. Luke smiled. "Yep, now your turn." He said.

"I spy with my little eye.. eh.. Luke theres like no other colour here." Lauren complained as she looked at him for help and pouted. "C'mon just one more round." He pleaded. "God, you must be really bored." Lauren joked. "I'm never bored with you." He smiled. Lauren blushed as she stammered.

"Okay, aha ehm I spy with my little eye, something brown." Lauren said as she looked back to him as they kept walking down the road.

"The dirt on the road?"

"No."

"The tree trunks."

"Yeah..." Lauren trailed off. "If your planning on doing another round, good luck with that theres nothing else here." Lauren said. "Theres something." Luke said with knowing in his voice. "Okay, go on." Lauren said.

"I spy with my little eye.. something-

-Beautiful."

"Thats not a colour, silly." Lauren joked until she realized what he had just said. She stopped walking and he stopped in front of her.

"The sea?" She said.

"No." Luke said as he moved closer.

"The scenery?" Lauren nearly whispered as he inched even closer.

"Nope." He said quietly as his hands snaked around her waist.

"The sky..?" Lauren nearly choked on her own words.

"No." Luke said now closing the gap between them, faces inches apart.

There was a silence for what seemed for eternity. No cars, no wind just the sea and their breathing. Luke looked intensely into Laurens eyes as he smiled. Lauren didnt know what to do so she just stood there awkwardly with his hands around her waist.

"Its you." He said and he heard her breathing hitch.

The gap between them fully closed now as Luke went in for the kiss first. Lauren was taken aback at first but she kissed back. Butterflies filled her stomach as she moved her hands up around his neck. She had to stand on her tippy toes to get a better reach 'cause he was so much taller. His hands started rubbing her back as he pulled her in even closer into his chest. Her hands went up to his soft hair, messing it up and ruffling it. His tongue traced along her bottom lip asking for entrance. He explored her mouth as she pulled on his hair a bit and his grip tightened on her back.

Noticing how heated the moment was getting, Lauren pulled away first. They were both breathing heavily as if they had just run a marathon. "I wanted to do that since we first went on this road trip." Luke smirked, not letting go of her. "Me too." Lauren confessed with a huge smile on her face.

Sorry this is kind of short, it's more like a filler chapter. Lots of stuff to come in the next few chapters though ;)
