I sat in the living room the next day, bored out of my mind. We were going back to New York tomorrow, because today uncle Magnus and Catarina Loss were putting up protective spells around it, and using magic to clean it up. I couldn't wait to go, I needed to watch "The Vampire Diaries." My mother and I always watched it together.
I sat in the living room with Logan and Austin. My parents and Paris were with Aunt Tessa and uncle Jem, and we didn't feel like going. Alexa and her family were at the Lovelace's house, Max's girlfriend's house. I sighed, bored. Austin was reading a book, and Logan was staring off into space.
"Ugh, I hate it here." I groaned. "It's so boring."
"Me too." Austin sighed, closing his book. "There's nothing to do."
"We should all portal somewhere fun." Logan grinned mischievously.
"No way. We already got in trouble for leaving without our parents knowing, we can't do it again." Austin said.
"Yeah." I agreed.
"I wish Will Herondale was here, at least he's fun." Logan grumbled, and Austin and I laughed.
"They're all probably watching us, right now." I said. "That's kind of creepy."
"Nah, it would be cool." Logan said. "I mean, wouldn't you want to watch over your descendants?"
"Yeah, I guess so." I said. "Alexa's lucky. Cecily's like her protector."
"Cecily's hot." Logan smirked.
I groaned and shook my head. Boys.
"How is the Clave going to stop Benjamin?" I asked worriedly.
"They won't be able to." Logan said.
"Logan's right. There are too many of them." Austin shook his head.
"Then who will?" I asked.
Logan smirked. "Us, of course."
"Why do you think that?" Austin raised an eyebrow.
"Well, our parents saved the world, so I'll bet you everyone will look to us to carry on the legacy." He explained.
I sighed. "That's probably true. Everyone expects us all to do great things."
"Exactly." Logan said.
We all talked for a bit longer, and then I decided to go for a walk. I put on my jacket and runners, and left. I walked through the streets, it was hard to believe that only a few days ago they were stained with blood. I walked a bit more, and walked up a hill. Once I had reached the top, I saw that there was a bench on looking a bit of Alicante. Sitting on the bench, was Blake. Against my better judgement I walked up and took a seat beside him.
I took a seat, and his head whipped towards me. His dark brown hair was falling into his light brown eyes, and I melted. He looked very surprised to see me.
"Scarlett? What are you doing here?" He asked.
"I was bored." I said simply.
Blake chuckled. "Join the club."
I smiled a little, but was silent. What was I even doing here sitting beside him? He had cheated on me, and I should hate him.
