I woke up the next morning, feeling exhausted. Alexa and I had been up till 2am, laughing about random things and old memories. I smiled to myself, I loved her so much. She was the only person who really made me laugh. She was always there for me, and always made me feel better. I couldn't ask for a better Parabatai.

I got up and changed out of my pyjamas, and walked downstairs to the dining room. Everyone was there except for Logan. I took a seat in between Blake and Alexa. Blake kissed my cheek, and Alexa smiled at me.

"Where's Logan?" I asked.

"Probably still sleeping." Austin said.

We all started eating, and about half way through, Logan entered the dining room. He was wearing jeans and a hoodie, and he seemed different. I wasn't sure what it was, but the way he was walking and his facial expression was off.

"Good morning." He chirped, as he sat down across from me.

"Good morning." We all said.

He then dove into his food, and I tried not to chuckle. There was the Logan I knew so well. We all finished our breakfast quickly, and we all went to the living room.

"Do you guys want to go for a walk?" Logan asked suddenly.

We all looked at each other. Logan? Suggesting a walk? What? He did seem to be in a good mood today.

"Alright, I'll go." I said.

"Same." Charlotte said.

Soon, everyone agreed.

"Now, all of you be careful." My father started. "Take weapons."

"I doubt we're going to get jumped in broad daylight, Dad." I rolled my ekes humorously.

"You never know." He said.

We all sighed, but grabbed weapons. We then left, before my father could say anything more. We all walked down the steps, and onto the sidewalk.

"Where should we go?" Alexa asked.

"Let's go to a restaurant, I'm hungry again." Logan said.

"Of course you are." Alexa laughed, and he grinned at her.

I smiled, they were cute. I took Blake's hand, and we all started to walk. It wasn't too cold out today, and the sun was shining through the clouds.

"It's nice out today." Blake said.

"It is." I said. "I wonder what's gotten into Logan. He's never this cheerful."

"At least he's happy. I mean, it can't be fun having Lilith hunting you done." He said.

I chuckled a bit. "That's true."

After about ten minutes, we reached Taki's. We walked inside, and I stared. There were a few Faeries, vampires, and werewolves sitting at each table. They all stared at us, as we stood in the doorway, and then went back to their meals.

"Could they stare a bit longer?" Blake whispered sarcastically.

I chuckled, and a faerie name Kaelie showed us to our table. We all sat in a booth, and I picked up a menu.

"I think I'm just going to have milkshake." I said. "What about you guys?"

"Same." Will closed his menu.

We all ordered milk shakes, except for Logan who ordered a hamburger with fries. Kaelie came to take our order, and I didn't like how she was looking at Blake. When he placed his order, and twirled her hair and batted her eyelashes at him. I glared at her fiercely, and scooted closer to him.

"Someone's jealous." He whispered to me, smirking.

"She looked like she wanted to eat you." I said annoyedly.

"Aw, don't be like that. I only love you." Blake winked at me.

I blushed, and hit his arm. I looked up, to see Logan speaking to Kaelie quietly. He was talking a bit intensely, and she was nodding obediently. When she finally walked away, I spoke up.

"What was that about?" I asked Logan.

He waved it off. "She's in love with me. I had to tell her that it would never happen."

"You're quite the heartbreaker." Alexa said amusedly.

"Not as much as you, Lex." He smirked at me.

She only blushed and laughed. Our food came soon, and I sipped on my milkshake. Everyone was talking, but I studied Logan. He was eating his hamburger quickly, and he would look up every so often. I noticed that he was watching all of us eat.

"This milkshake tastes kind of weird." Blake said.

I sipped it again. "It does a bit. Who even knows what they put in it."

He chuckled. "That's true."

I suddenly felt myself beginning to have a headache, and I felt a bit dizzy. By the time Logan was finished eating, I couldn't even see straight. I could tell that everyone was feeling sick, too.

"Ugh, I'm not feeling so hot." Alexa groaned.

"Me too." Charlotte said.

"Those idiots must have put something in the milkshakes." Logan sighed. "C'mon, we should go home if you aren't feeling well."

We all agreed and got up, I almost tripped but I caught myself. We all followed Logan down the street. I noticed that he wasn't going the way we usually took, but I could even stand so I didn't say anything. He lead us to the park, and I saw a bright white light. I know that I knew what it was, but my head was spinning.

"I had uncle Magnus set up a portal for us, to go back to the Institute since you all aren't feeling well." Logan said.

We all stepped through, and I was last. I stepped through, and I was hit with a blast of cold, and I felt as if I was falling through a long dark tunnel. I suddenly got the feeling, that we weren't going back to the Institute.
