REDONE!

Josh's P.O.V

I ran to where the entrance was and I didn't have time for anything right now, Y/n could be dead and I wouldn't be able to tell her or show her what she means everything to me, and I mean everything. I made distractions and started to yell to get the attention of the Wendigo's. I wasn't going to lose the only thing I still had left; from my rage and desperation I could feel the curse trying to take over. I tried to control it but it was getting stronger along with my appetite. I couldn't afford to let myself become consumed by it, not now. I made my way to what I expected was the middle of this part of the mine. I looked up and saw that there was a sky light, I looked up feeling a little bit of peace from the beautiful night sky. I was pulled from the thought when I heard screeching coming from the left side of me; without another thought I took off after the sound. I soon found the Wendigo's surround a source that radiated light, though it wasn't a normal kind of light it felt so warm and loving.

I slowly walked closer and saw that Y/n was in the radiated light, she just laid there. She didn't move at all but because of the light the Wendigo's couldn't get to her, that's a relief. I look at her chest and it doesn't seem to be moving, I looked at her head and saw that there was blood staining her beautiful head, oh god. Please! Don't let her be dead, please, PLEASE! I could feel myself loosing control of the curse and the next thing I know is I blacked out.

Y/n's P.O.V

I felt so warm and light, peace is the word for this. I opened my eyes and I was surrounded by white light I looked around and started to smile. I've never felt so at peace I just wanted to stay here and do nothing. I didn't have to responsibilities, I didn't have to worry about nothing, and there was no people... I looked around and saw no one. I was alone. I was utterly alone. Then it occurred to me, I'm dead.

"No my dear you aren't dead" I looked around and saw the old women.

"Then where am I?"

"You're mind is inside of the butterfly, my gem"

"Oh" was all I could say.

"I wanted to show you what really happened that day when we lost to the curse" the old women closed her eyes and everything went dark.

The world seems to burry but soon comes into focus, trees greener than ever, the ground covered with a fresh layer of snow, and the night as dark with sparkles of the stars. I heard crunching coming from behind me, turning around I saw the old women and her warriors. They were decked out in warrior tribal clothing ranging from their masks to their moccasins. They carried spears that looked sharp enough to cut a rock clean in half. They kept their formation of the 'V' and looked determined to kill anything that got in their way.

They approached the mine and split up, to take formation at all the entrances and preform the ritual. I followed the old women to see everything she sees. She stops at the entrance and raises her hands above her head and lifts her head, she starts chanting in what I would believe as the ritual words. The ground started to shake and the air became warmer with each word; she slows down which it indicate that she was almost finished something screeches and shouting fill the air. The old women stops chanting and lowers her hands, she knew that the Wendigo's had ambushed them.

"I thought I told you to leave and not come back" the women turns around and see her grandchild

"You know we can't. There will be no peace as long as the curse still resides in these mines"

"You were always a fool weren't you. You think you can reverse this!" the kid shows him his face and it was more contorted than before, signifying his shifting.
