Buzz Buzz I heard my phone go off, signaling that there was a text.  It simply read:

"Hey, Mari!  Just checking 2 see if u gave me a fake # or sumthin.  :P  Text me when u get this. - Jake"

I smiled and sent back a text saying that he has the right number and that I wouldn't give him a fake number. I added a smiley face afterwards, just because I felt like it.

"Ok.  Thx 4 that.  Gtg, working.  Stop by?  It's the sandwich shop uptown.  I'll get u a freebie. ;]"

He never told me he had a job.  Oh, well.  Free sandwiches?  I'm in.

"HeydadI'mhangingoutwithaboyisthatokaybye."  I said, mushing it all together.  (AN  If you couldn't read that it was Hey dad, I'm hanging out with a boy.  Is that okay? Bye.  Mushed together.)

"Be back soon, Mari."  was all I got from my dad right before I left the room.  My twin makes fun of me for being a "perfect angel child" around my parents, but this is when it comes in handy.  Of course the Martial arts classes I took all of 3rd - 7th grade and my self defense classes add on to me having my amount of freedom.   I have many secrets, yes.  I'm the one who hides as much as possible.  I quickly put on bracelets to have something to keep my hands occupied.  I need to keep my hands doing something at all times, whether it be rubbing them together, spinning bracelets, or tapping them on any surface.  I left the house quickly, being sure to say bye to my sisters.  I walked to Subway, conveniently a few blocks away, on my new running route.  I might have my morning runs in the evening now.  I get there in about 3 minutes, which doesn't surprise me considering my long legs and daily runs.  As I walk in I see Jake leaving the counter while a girl takes his place.

"Hey, Mari!"  Jake says as he leaves the staff door.

"Hey Jake!"  I replied, a large smile appearing on my face.

"Turkey alright? He asked holding out a 6" sub with turkey, swiss cheese, and ranch dressing.

"Yeah, it's my favorite!"  I said truthfully.

"Mine too, I just got a foot long and cut it in half."  He said with a surprised look on his face.

"And what would have happened if I hated what was on this sandwich?"

"Wel, I would be eating a foot of turkey and Swiss sandwich."

We both had a good laugh at that.  We sat in a booth and ate our sandwich, talking about things that are random.  When he asked me if I had lived here before I was both shocked and crept out.

"Yeah... Why?"  I asked slowly.

"I told my little sister about you and she said she knew you.  Her name's Bella."   He said and my jaw dropped.

"Oh my god, you're Bunny's sister?"  I said almost yelling, not even caring that I used her nickname.

"Bunny?"  He asked with an eyebrow raised and his lips upturned in a slight smile.

"Sorry, I gave her that nickname because she hated the name Bella with a passion.  It was too cliché I think is what she told me."  I said.  After his lunch break ended I gave him a slight split-second hug and say the usual "Bye, text me, see you later" combo and I left, but not before hearing his manager yell at him to stop talking to his girlfriend and to get to work.  I giggled at him calling me his girlfriend, but then I went home thinking about Jake when something terrifying happened in the middle of the road.
