I walked in the door of my house to find something that shocked me.  I saw my sisters, my mom, and my dad sitting at the table with a chair pulled out for me.  I silently sat down, thinking that Melody told mom and dad about Jake sleeping in my room.

"Hello Mari."  My dad said plainly, no anger in his voice.

"Hey Dad."  I said smoothly.

"Good morning Honey."  My mom said cheerfully.

"Good morning mom.  And you too Madi and Melody."  I said, hiding my confusion.

"Why didn't you tell me that we had a guest last night?"  Mom asked with a smile on her face.

"Oh.  Umm.  I guess I didn't think you would mind."  I replied, shooting a few glares at Melody, who just looked at with a face that said: "What did I do?"

"We don't mind, Marissa. I just would've been delighted to have seen Isabella last night.  It's been almost 6 years since we last saw her family.

I guess Melody told her that I was taking Bunny to her house last night and not Jake.  Sorry Melody.

"Oh.  I guess you were good friends with her mom."  I replied.

"Yes.  I remember how upset she was when we left."  Mom said, getting lost in her own thoughts.

"Yeah.  I'm sorry mom."  I said.

"WHO WANTS BLUEBERRY WAFFLES?"  Melody practically yelled.  Now, Melody can be annoying as a bug that flies away right before you hit it with the fly swatter for 20 minutes, but she can make some amazing blueberry waffles.

"I want like, 30 million."  I said.

"You can have 5."  She said.  Normally I only get 2 so 3 more than usual is an offer I'd be stupid to pass up.

"Okay!"

She cooked the waffles and placed them in front of me.

"Thanks, Melody!"  I exclaimed before shoveling the blueberry filled goodness in my mouth.

"Mhph dewishis!"  I said, attempting to say "Mmmm delicious!"

Melody just laughed and got some for the whole family.  I felt a buzz in my pocket, so I swiftly pulled out my phone.  I read the text from Bunny that was asking me if I wanted to get lunch with her and Jake.  I replied, but only after taking another huge bite of the waffles.  I got syrup on the screen of my phone, but it was worth it.  I got a text back that said "No kissing!" and so I started laughing like a maniac atthe table. Everyone looked at me funny until Melody said that I was texting Bella.  My mom told me to invite her for dinner, so I did.  She responded with an okay and told me to meet her at 1:00 at Subway.  I cleaned my plate and put it out to dry when I got another text.

"Hey.  Did Bells invite you to lunch?"

"Yeah.  When did you stop using text lingo?"

"The same time my mom told me to or else she would take my phone away because it was rubbing off on my writing. :P"

"Ha!  I'll see you at 1.  Wait, shouldn't you be doing your job?"

"Hiding in the bathroom. :)"

"Get back to making sandwiches!  Make me one?"

"I was planning it.  Your favorite?"

"Turkey with swiss and ranch on flatbread. :P"

"I know.  See ya!"

"Byes!"

The conversation ended there as I looked at the clock.  9:57.  Perfect.  I started to leave the room and Melody whispered in my ear.

"Have fun on your date."  She whispered with a smirk.

I just rolled my eyes and headed towards the bathroom to shower.  I picked out a pair of black ripped jeans and an off-one-shoulder white tee.  I got in the shower when my phone went off.  I ignored it and it went off again.  And then 7 more times.  I got out of theshower and checked my phone calls.

"9 missed calls from UNKNOWN"

Who would be calling me right now?  It's 10:11 A.M on a Tuesday.  I clicked the little exit button and a new window popped up.

"1 new voicemail from UNKNOWN"  It must be important if they left a voicemail, I guess.

I hit the "connect" button and put in my passcode.

"Hi Mari.  Ready to have some fun?."  The voicemail said.  I froze.  I need to tell my parents.  I tried to move but I couldn't think straight, let alone move.  "Who is this?"  "What do they want?"  "Will they hurt my family?"  "Are they going to kill me?"  "How do they know my name?"  "Do they know where I live?"

A buzz in my hand shocked me back to reality.  I looked at the caller ID.  "Jake"

"He-hello?"

"Hey Mari!"  Jake said with a happy tone.

"W-what's up?"  I asked.

"Are you okay?"

"GET DOWN ON THE GROUND!" A gruff voice yelled.

"Mari!  Call the police!"  I hung up, quickly, dialing 911 (The emergancy number for America.)

"Hello.  What is your emergancy?"  The lady asked.

"There's a burglar at Subway!"  I yelled into the phone.

"Okay.  I'll send Authorities to the Subway on 2nd St.  Is that correct?"

"Yes."  I replied, automatically hanging up and throwing my phone on the bed.  I immediately started thinking the worst.  I ran to my truck, ignoring my family's pleas.  Only one thought went through my mind as a parked a little bit away from the store.

Is it the same person?
