Chapter 7

Hey my Lovelies!  What's up with your lives!  I'm trying to update quickly and I have a million ideas for the story!  It's going to be an amazing week for you guys if you like updates every 2 days!!!  Whoop Whoop!  Hope you enjoy Chapter 7 of Now or Never!

Of Course, Mari's P.O.V!

Well, today has been interesting. Here's what happened to make me freak out.  Some stranger just opened the front door dressed in all black with a ski mask on and started petting our dog.  He looked at me and then at my dog.  

"Cute dog"  He said.

Then he left.  Strange, huh?

Then I heard a knock on the door.  I opened the door, expecting the man who pet Cookie to apologize.  Yes, my dog's name is Cookie.  I was terrified by a short figure knocking me back a few inches.  I knew I could take the stranger.

"MARICAKES!"  The girl yelled.

"Bunny?"  I asked with a smile, not sure if it was really her.

"YES!  I've missed you!"  She squealed in my ear- well under it since she couldn't reach it.  

"Remember when you were taller than me, shortie?"  I asked her.

"Remember when you had pink permanent marker on your face on picture day, because that can happen again."  She said with an evil look in her eyes.

"Wow.  I just had you burst in my door a minute ago and you're already threatening me"

"Yep!" 

I got some hot cocoa mix out of the cupboard and put it in hot milk and gave the mug to Bunny. 

"What, no marshmallows?"

"Hold on a minute!" I said and pulled a 1/2 pound bag of multi-colored marshmallows out of the pantry.

I poured half of them in my mug and the rest in Bunny's.

"Awwww! You remembered how many marshmallows I liked in my hot cocoa!"  Bunny exclaimed.

"Duh!  As you can see, we share our marshmallow addictions!"

We talked about everything under the sun and in Outer Space.  Before we knew it, it was 7:56.  The only thing stopping us from being up all night was Bella's phone ringing.  

"Hewwo?"  Bells answered with about 20 mini-marshmallows in her mouth.

I could barely make out what the person was saying but it sounded like "Bella!  Come home!  NOW!    Are you drunk?  Bella!  I'm picking you up!  If you're drunk then I swear you will regret ever being born!"   

"JAKE!  CALM THE HELL DOWN!  I'm just at Mari's house!  Jeez!  Do you have no faith in me?"

"Hey Jake!"  I said, hoping he would hear me through the phone.

"H-Hey Mari."  Jake stuttered.

"OOOOOOHH!  JAKE!  You love my bestie!  Ewwwwww."  Bunny exclaimed.

"What?  No!"  Jake yelled into the phone.  "I'm coming to get you!"

"I can walk, Jake."   Bunny said into the phone.

"I know, but I'll come get you." 

"Why?  So you can see your crush?"  

"No..."  Jake said after a minute of silence.

"Okay.  See you in a little bit."

Bella ended the phone call.

"Wait.  How do you know where I live?"
