"Hold me if you don't wish to fall."

"I am fine."

"Hannah.."

"I will hold the sides."

"Hold me."

"I said I'm fine. Hey!"

I was sitting behind him on his bike, and we were arguing on whether to hold him or the sides of the bike.

But David didn't take my argument as reasonable and himself placed my hands around his waist, making me bite my lips hard and squeezing my fingers, not trying to touch him in an intimate way.

"I could have manage.." I whispered slowly and prayed for a safe ride.

I tried to adjust the helmet the last time before he took us on the main road, whooshing his way through the dense silence of midnight.

I never imagined how irritating it could be to wear a helmet for a person, until just now. It was suffocating my breath intake and I found it hard to hear any sounds in it. The only benefit it provided was to protect my hair from getting all frizzy in this crazy bike ride.

I think I heard David say something which I clearly wasn't able to catch. I was too busy thinking about unimaginable places he can take me to show me God knows what, to clear his mind.

So the next time I felt him say something I took off my helmet and leaned forward, making my front press on his back, way too close for my comfort, but necessary to make out what he was saying.

"You said something?" I shouted to make myself audible enough for him to listen.

Taking off the helmet was clearly not a wise choice, because now my hair was having a wild time having their crazy party with the blowing wind.

I tried to caress them and ran my hand several times over them, to no avail, still waiting for him to reply and waiting to quickly wear it back. But it looked to me he was taking way too long to reply.

I thought to ask him again and I was going to, but my words turned into a loud screech when he brought his bike to sudden stop, nearly knocking me off my seat only if I was not holding him so tightly that my life depended on it.

"You stupid! Do you wish to kill us?" I shouted at him and quickly got off his deadly bike.

I took several deep breaths to calm down my racing heart. It's not wise to have a bike ride when the person driving it is someone as crazy as David.

"This was nothing, babe. I drive faster than this." He winked looking at me and took off his helmet to tuck it at the right handle and got off his bike.

And now looking at me with an amusing smile on his face.

"What?" I didn't like that stupid grin, no matter how cute it looked. Because it was making me feel like a fool at the moment.

"You hair." He laughed and stepped forward.

"You look wanton." He pursed his lips, trying hard not to laugh. But I clearly got his meaning.

"Haha...very funny. All thanks to your crazy riding skills. I took off the helmet to ask you what you were saying. Clearly, it was a big mistake." I rolled my eyes and folded my arms around, trying to warm myself. I had a jacket but it was still cold outside.

I looked around to examine my surroundings and was stunned to find we were standing outside the main gate entrance of a park.

"You gotta be kidding me. You brought me to a park, at this hour of night just to clear your mind. We could have gone to the central park near our apartment." I looked at him, angry that he brought me so far away to roam around a park.
