I shouldn't have judged Smith. He is such a nice guy. I had been ignoring him for the whole week confused how to deal with him, his friends and worried about how Lisa will react about my growing friendship with him.

But he, on the other hand, is being so nice to me. Never trying to pressurize me to be with him or to be with his friends anymore. He is just being sweet enough to tag along with me and spend as much as time possible in between of our busy school routine.

He didn't even complain about my rude behavior in front of his friends, the past week, for which I am glad. I don't know what reasons I could have possibly given to explain my weird behavior that day and the stuff going on in my mind that time.

"Okay! Muffin. I will meet you after your Drama class. Hope you enjoy it while I am going to practice for the football tournament this week." We were standing outside my Drama class with me clutching my books to my chest and looking at Smith with a big smile on my face. He is just not charming but caring too. He is too sweet.

I looked over his shoulders and didn't miss the amount of loathing looks I was getting from my classmates specially girls, including Miley and her friends. I ignored them completely and assured Smith that we will surely meet after my class and will spend our day together.

I entered the class and immediately got surrounded by the hustle and bustle of the annual day preparation. On my right was Miss Johnson, who was giving instructions to the volunteers to arrange the beautiful landscape they have made on a cardboard, to be placed at the background. On my left were Junior wing kids who were practicing on their dance moves on a song which is a part of our play.

This is what I love.

This spirit of working together. The joy it brings me to watch kids of all ages working together and that to in 'harmony'. I laughed at that thought and soon joined them and got myself involved.

"Attention everyone!" We turned around to the source of the booming voice and saw our Principal standing near the entrance along with someone who was sheltered behind him.

"Yes Sir!" We all replied like the obedient students we were.

"I have with me this young man, who will now be obliged to helping you hard working people in the preparation of the annual day." I stepped forward to have a good look at the person about whom the Principal is talking and gasped in shock when the person of my unreal vivid imagination was actually standing by the side of the Principal.

Is he real...

"Isn't he the one who was charged under a murder case when we were in the eighth grade?" Called two girls standing in front of me.

"What!!??" That came from me with an utter disbelieving look on my face.

"Omg! What in
hell is a criminal like him is doing among us?" I looked at the girl on my right who looked horrified to be even present in the same room as him.

"Dude my parents will totally freak out if they come to know about this." That came from a boy I remember studying with me in my ninth grade, from my geography class.

"He won't harm me sissy, will he?" Asked a second grade kid which made me look at him with kindness and I scooped him up in my arms.
