I walked into the classroom. So much happened yesterday, but most importantly I HAVE A FRIEND!
That's right! I'm not a loner anymore! One friend... It's always a good start! Why am I starting to feel sorry for myself again?"Yo, sup Timathy," I said when I saw him sitting on a chair and then took a seat beside him. He gave me a small glance before he continued reading the book in his hands. Are we really friends? Did he really respond with silence? Maybe he is not talkative or what?
"What are you reading bro?" I asked, trying to look at the book cover. Survival or whatever.
"What's up with that book? why are you reading it?" I asked out of curiosity.
"Just out of interest" He simply responded."Okay..." I said, not knowing what else to say.
"By the way, you're really good at everything you know. Can you give me some of your knowledge?" I observed him while asking.
"It's not always about intelligence, it's about how much you are willing to learn," He said with his eyes on his book. Is he stupid? of course it's about knowledge! Some are magically born with high IQ!"What about those with high IQ? some kids are born with the intelligence of a genius" I said.
"That's why I said 'not always'. There are some exceptions. You are either born as an easy learner or as a person who has to study hard to gain their knowledge.""Then... can you tell me how to solve this problem?" I said showing him a problem we had to solve from yesterday. As you all know me, I could barely read the second word and understand it. Yes, that's right. It's none other than physics. NOT math.
"Are you someone from preschool? why is your handwriting so ugly?" He grimaced before asking me while looking at the place where I wrote my name on.
"I injured the hand I used to write with, so now I'm trying to write with my right hand" I lied. I didn't know that I was such a good lier..."You're left-handed?" He asked me. I nodded in response. Truth be told, I have never been able to hold a pencil correctly with my left hand.
"I see. Then there is nothing to do about it... except for practice" He told me.
"Can I call you sensei?" I asked amazed. How can this dude sound cool and inspiring at the same time?
"No." He told me.
"I will do it anyway sensei," I said with a big grin on my face.
"I said NO." He responded in return.
"You can't order me around, you're not my sensei" I crossed my arms after saying so.
"What kind of logic is that?" He said, after giving me a deep frown. I guess he needs some 'Wren logic'. Don't worry Timmy boy, Wren is here.
"Relaaaxxx bro, I have got the knowledge you need," I told him, giving him a light clap on his shoulder.
"You are really making no sense. And don't call me 'bro'. We are not even that close" He told me. Ouch...He is probably one of those shy types who feels embarrassed about everything. As an awesome friend, I must considerate his shyness. Yes, I see. I'm a good friend after all. "You're just denying it because of your shyness," I said, trying to open up the atmosphere and break the ice.
"Not really" He responded instantly with a monotone voice after my remark. Shortly after he looked at the paper and wrote something down.
"You need this formula to solve this."
"What language is that?" I asked being totally blank. Timathy responded with a sight in return. We continued our little 'sensei and Wren talk' until the other students started to come in. Not long after that, the teacher came into the classroom. Oh, shish. The torture of being here is getting worse. The history teacher started to talk and continued nonstop, making me almost feel like falling asleep. Slowly I went to my own world unconsciously. Wren, whatever you do. Please. Don't fall asleep.
"Okay, then class lets go back to the history lesson. We have no time to waste! If you wanna know more about what I did on my holiday you can ask me after class" The teacher said. Wait. So the whole thing she was babbling about wasn't even history!? And I freaking almost fell asleep for nothing!?
