One step before me

-{Chapter 17: Every problem has a solution}-

The harsh slapping on my face made it hard not to be conscious once again.
"Hey, wake up," The person said while continuously slapping my cheek. The craving of slapping this person in return was strong. I lazily took my hand up and attempted to slap the person in return, but failed miserably. Soon enough after my attempt, I gave up.
"pick a fight with me later, I have no energy. I've not slept for over 24 hours" I said half asleep. No sleep + crying = no good combo. I'm exhausted. Let me freaking doze off if I want to. I deserve it.

Timathy's POV

What is this all about? What a dramatic girl. She made me worried for no reason. I looked at her in my arms. Why don't I just drop her and let her head fall first hard to the ground? Stupid girl. Made me worried for no reason. I snorted. Worried? me? Yeah right!
I lifted her up and threw her on the sofa. What a waste of time. I even broke her door for no reason. Guess I have to replace it. That door was too easy to break. This girl is so stupid that she would probably use the door as a punching bag. I'm not surprised if that is the case.

"Don't be so mean Timathy, or else I won't be your friend. If you go against me like that again, I might not forgive you next time." She mumbles. Wonderful. The kid is speaking in her sleep. I took the teddy bear that she had dropped to the ground and placed it next to her head. I did not know she liked teddies. What a kid."Don't diss me like that ever again. My heart can't take the rusting bombs you sometimes throw at me." She mumbled.
"I didn't say anything" I responded. Oh well, let me call someone useful while I am here.

Wren's POV

That nap was really necessary. Or so it felt like. I looked out the window, facing the pitch dark night. For how long was I asleep? Wow. It's 2 a clock. I went to the kitchen and drank some water. I filled up the cup once again. Didn't know that I could pull some snow-white sleeping beauty right there. I went back to the living room, confused. I'm not sure if I am still tired enough to sleep. What do you even do in the middle of the night except for sleep? I have school tomorrow. Yay school. YAY SCHOOL. I WILL BE EXPELLED-
"Oh-oh- Little Wreny is awake. How were nine hours of sleep? Wish I could sleep for that long." BJ said from the TV and I was coughing as he did so.
"Why do you always act like a creep. Stop it! How come you're awake? aren't you supposed to be asleep!?" I asked while calming down. "What else Wreny? not everyone is innocent like you and sleep at the right times. I have work to do so sleep is not a good option for me." He responded. I took the teddy and threw it at the TV. "You stupid. Sleep is important! I almost died today cuz I didn't get enough sleep!" I told him. It feels good to finally scold him for once at least. He gasped.
"Is that really how you are going to treat my gifts!? Ungrateful brat" He said deeply offended. Wait. What?
"This creepypasta was from you...!? So you were the one who sent me this. It's not hunted. It didn't come out of thin air. Hah. But I'm not a kid, you know." I said out of relief.

"You say all that but deep down inside I know that you love it. I have proof" He said showing a picture of my face drooling while hugging the small teddy bear. My eyes went wide. "When did you take that picture...how?" I asked almost speechless. "Recently and the answer for the last question is: that's a secret between hackers," He said. Somehow the time flew by and it was time for school again. How depressing. Time to get expelled~ This is where I am supposed to be brave and awesome and don't give a trashcan about this. Well, then why are my legs shaking crazily under me? Oh yeah, that's right. I am a coward. I almost forgot that. I entered the school. I'm not scared. Freaking come at me.

Nobody said anything. Huh, maybe everyone got somehow scared of me... that explains it. Nah, it's probably because the trash will be thrown on me late. That Vanessa girl really likes to play with dirty tricks. Thankfully I am not like that. I went to class normally. Weird. Nobody is commenting on it. It was as if nothing happened. Maybe it was just a dream? Or maybe I am dreaming? Okay. It's finally time for lunch. I took my food and sat on the chair beside Timathy as usual. Not even he mentioned it.
"Did they bother you again?" Alexander said while placing his tray on the table. "Sorry, what?" I asked confused. "Vanessa and her girl gang" He responded while taking his fork and started to eat his pasta. "How did..." I could not finish my own question, not sure if I understood what he just said correctly. "How did I know? I overheard her friends mentioning all the things they did to you. Plus some other things that made me even more pissed off." he explained. "I'm really sorry. It's my fault that they were picking on you. Apparently, she started some weird rumors about you. So I did what a true man should have done, took the matter into my own hands. I mean if I was the one starting it, then I should be the one ending it. Am I right?" Alexander said while stuffing more food in his mouth. A grin appeared on my face. I looked at Timathy, of course, there is nothing positive about Alexander in his eyes. His furrowed eyebrows explained everything. "See? Didn't I tell you that you shouldn't associate yourself with him? You should have kept your distance with this guy. But I guess he didn't run away" Timathy said calmly. Did he just...? I looked at Alexander and unsurprisingly he was in shock. He dropped his fork and it fell back on his plate. "Ew. Don't compliment me four eyes." He said looking like someone who was traumatized. Timathy responded with a small smirk. A grin appeared on my face. "What did you do?" I asked Alexander.

"I told her that I would cut all connections I had with her if she doesn't fix this mess and reflect on what she did" He shrugged. "Thanks, bro, you are a true friend and a very nice one too," I told him with a smile. For some reason, he was taken back by my words. "Did you hear that? she called me handsome, something that she will never describe you as, four eyes" He told Timathy. "go and be extra somewhere else. nobody asked you" Timathy responded with his usual 'I don't give a zamn' expression. I-I never said that he was handsome though?
