His grey-green eyes were staring at me. The realization hit me: my eyes were wide open, staring right back at him. The atmosphere was so intense that even breathing was hard. Being in his car did not make it better in any way. I coughed. I didn't answer his question. Guess this is it. I must tell him. I must tell him everything my brain remembers. The. Whole. Story. There is no backing out now. Maybe it was destiny to have one more ally, one more companion who could share my burden. This is fate. I can feel it in every blood cell in my body. I cleared my throat and made eye contact.
"Once upon a time, there was a girl who woke up in an apartment on a sofa. She was confused and couldn't remember anything. And that's when everything star-" I was about to tell my journey of life but my opportunity was quickly gone. Well, that's a shame. I had otherwise hoped for Timathy to take over my life and feel sorry for me. That way he could take over my life and be the new 'Wren Rosiel'. The only thing he needed to do would be doing his hair and clothes identical to mine. He would kick but, be cool and get away with almost anything. Nobody would've noticed a thing, besides, I've never had THAT many friends. I can hide somewhere and avoid all of this, thinking: "I'm so thankful that ain't me".

"Wren, I just asked you a simple question, why can't you give me a serious answer?" Timathy interrupted me in disbelief. "Is everything a joke for you?" He then added. I slapped him so hard that his head slammed the window and the glass was now town into small pieces. Sike. That was just my imagination. He is lucky that he is not only more intelligent than me but also older. I'm a good kid, so I have respect for the elders.

Sudden dizziness took a grasp on me. I didn't even run that extremely. The world was spinning around me, going in circles. My body felt weak and it was like my consciousness was slowly slipping away. "Hey you, are you okay?" Timathy asked in concern. "I'm not sure... water... think I need to drink some water" I forced the words out. It was hard to see. I started to press my hands against my head, in the hope of releasing some of the pain.

Maybe I shouldn't pressure her. I let a simple short sight escape my mouth. She didn't seem that sick a while ago. " I'm sorry. I was just deeply flustered. To witness a death scene once again is unbearable..." I told her, but it was no use. She could not hear me. Her head was leaning against my seat. "Wren?" I asked while searching for her face to see if she was feeling somewhat less ill. I leaned in closer and then noticed her eyes. A frown was automatically expressed on my face. Is she on drugs? Her eyes were unusual. They were coal black. Not only the pupils of the eye but the sclera too. This was not an ordinary thing. To be honest, nothing with Wren was normal. I have not minded any of it, but this is too much. She just crossed the line of being a human being. Shouldn't judge so hastily, should rather wait for an explanation.

I went to the backseat and sat right next to her. Oddly enough I was not surprised nor freaked out. I guess that's just how I handle situations like these. Making a fuss of things never did anything good anyway. I pressed my hand against her forehead. It was burning. Her temperature is too high. None the less, this doesn't seem like a usual cold or fever.  I leaned back on the seat and closed my eyes. Maybe I should take her to the hospital.

Wren's POV

It came so suddenly. This was one of the last things I had expected to come my way. My vision became all dark before I started to get conscious again. That was when I knew that I was not me anymore. I was a person who would be dying soon.

-------------------------------------------

I opened the door before entering. As soon as I've got those files, I'm out of here. What a waste of time this place is. If I wasn't tied to this place, I would have left it a longe time ago. I made my way and took a copy of the files. My eyes were now scanning through the documents. Forget it. I will read it by detail later on.

The crashing sound was heard from afar. I sigh and made my way towards that spot where it seemed like the sound came from. What a surprise. It is my 'girlfriend' having a deep affair with another man. I've never liked her anyway. What a waste of time. I could have been in the car by now. As I was making a U-turn and my way towards where I was heading before I heard her voice.

"Timathy!" She shouted from behind, sounding desperate. Ignore her. Pretend you didn't hear. "Wait" she called out with a shaking voice. Not for a second did I stop. Heh- She seriously believes that I didn't know her cheating on me before this.
"TIMATHY!" She screamed on top of her lungs. Give me a break. I turned around, indicating that I was giving my attention to her out of petty since she was in great need of my charity.

"Y-you don't understand- I have always loved you- You've always kept your distance from me. You bearly look my way. I've loved you for more than five years, even before our relationship- I've been sick and tired of waiting- why can't you just love me back?" She cried out. I looked at her. It was silent for a moment before her lover opened his mouth.

"Why Melisa? He has never loved you. I've always been there for you. Your love has always been sided" He said while snorting, his eyes fixated on me. Seems like they are a perfect match. Can't they just end up together already and leave me be? What a pain in the ****.

"Timathy... is the only one in my heart. I can't bear to leave him... because I love him" She said with a bitter smile. Woman, just leave me be already. I've never asked for your love.
"I see" The man answered, obviously looking like he was going crazy. I've better things to do than watching this lame soap opera. My back was now facing the scene instead of me while my legs walking away, obviously because of me being tired of the whole drama. Two load sounds were heard. Gunshots. A warm dark red liquid leaked through my shirt. Soon enough I realized that my body was laying on the ground. "Timathy!" Melisa screamed a scream that my ears never had heard before. Don't touch me, woman, I couldn't help but think as she was grasping me in a tight embrace. I was a goner. What a pathetic way of dying. I guess this is karma.

-------------------------------------

My brain was starting to understand that I was here and not on the floor, dying. Once again I was back to myself. My eyes were burning but at a leisurely pace, my eyesight was coming back. I was looking around at the surroundings and started to remember that I was in Timathy's car. Surprisingly enough it seems that he has a heart, even though he seems heartless at times. The feeling of guilt was digging in me. My eyes went wide when I realized the whole situation I was in. Timathy's seat was empty. I panicked and looked around like a lunatic, feeling terrible as doing so. A figure caught my eye when I rashly looked out the window. It was Timathy. It was him and on top of that he was entering the same door I saw him enter in my vision.
