Katherine laughed at us before we had left: "Have a nice day! I think Elena will be more than upset!"

She was right and it broke my heart.

When we arrived at my car I hesitated for a second.

"What's wrong, Cal?", Damon asked worried.

"I don't know how to explain it to them.", I sighed and opened the car door.

We got in and the first minutes none of us said something, but then Damon started talking slowly:

"You got turned from Katherine, but he wont find out. But he will hate you for that. Maybe he'll kill you for that. But it seemed like he needs you for breaking the cure and he also said that he will needs you afterwards. And if he's right and there are others that are interested in you he might can give you protection. And there's something I have to tell you..."

I looked at him and I thought about who died this time.

"No one died, Cal.", he smiled slightly.

I noddoed gratefully.

"But..., Klaus was in Alarics body and... he told Jenna EVERYTHING.", he looked at me while he said that.

I shook my head and started to shout: "NO! Why? Didn't he ruined enough already?"

Tears began to fill my eyes and I slightly lost control of the car for one second.

Damon continued telling me what .happend while I was gone:

"Elena tried to calm her down and it worked kinda. And then Alaric came back, as Alaric. Now Jenna get's back to normal a bit more." He smiled to make me feel better but it didn't help.

Desperate I stared through the windshield: "But she is still angry with us and if I tell her what I am now she will hate me."

Damon treid to said something but I cut him off by shaking my head slightly.

When we arrived at the boarding house I took a deep breath and got out of the car.

I was about to open the door but Elena was faster. She yanked the door open and started talking immedatily:

"We found something to safe me!"

I smiled: "I know. And I find something for me." I spoke quietly so that Jenna and Alaric couldn't hear me.

Elena looked at me suprised: "What did you found?"

"Elena..I got turned from Katherine."

"Turned? Katherine?", she shook her head.

"You did what?!"

Damn it, Jenna and Alaric entered the room. I was so concentretated on Elena's reaction that I forget about them for a moment.

"Jenna, Elena.. Let me-", I started.

"No, I can't handle this. Leave it!" Jenna shouted and run out of the room. Alraic followed her.

I turned to Elena.

"Elena, you understand, right?!", I asked but she didn't answere. "Elena?!!"

"I'm sorry. You're my older sister. I lost so much and now you're dead! How could you do that?" she looked me straight into the eyes.

I was shocked. I couldn't believe what she was about to say!

"You killed yourself, after everything I've been through! You just gave up. You're a vampire now! You are... YOU ARE NOT MY SISTER ANY LONGER!" She cried and run upstairs.

I gasped for air. How could she say this?

"Stefan.. How could she?", I turned around and looked at him. What she just said hurt him as well. Before I could say anything else, Damon started talking angrily:

"How could she say that? Didn't she get it, you did it to safe everyone you love, including her! And beeing a vampire is the safest!!!"

I was still in shock. I kept staring at Stefan; He was about to break down. I rushed over to him, grabbed his hand and we left the house. We reeched the forest and tears run down our faces.

She just broke peaces of our hearts.

Damon's POV:

I saw the look on Callie's face. They needed some time to cry, I guess. I was angry, this time Elena topped it off! I went upstairs to talk to her. She was in Stefans room.

I took a deep breath to calm down before I entered the room:

"Elena.. You broke their hearts."

She raised an eyebrow "I didn't do anything!"

"Elena.. You just told your sister that she isn't your sister anymore because she's a vampire now. Of course she's hurt now and Stefan as well!" I explained while I looked straight into her face to see how she reacts.

"I was angry.. but why it did not hurt you?"

It hurt.. a lot, I thought by myself but then I smiled and answered: "We're not that close."

"Ah." Elena was shocked because of that answer. "I still don't understand why she did it!", she sighed.

I shook my head and began to walk towards her. I took her shoulders and looked into her eyes:

"Because she wants to protect all of us, especially you, Elena. And being a vampire is the safest and it's also a lot easier to protect the people you love.", I smiled.

While I said that I found a way to get rid of all our problems. They will hate me for that, but who knows if the other things would have worked.

I gave her a dirty grin. She took a step back and I saw fear appearing on her face.

"It just make things easier, sweetheart." I said and rushed over to her.

"A hell of a lot easier."
