Rescue mission

"Stefan killed Andy."

"No." he whispered.

I got up and turned the tv on.

"...Andy Star, the star of our hearts was found dead today..."

Tears started to run down my face. Damon turned the tv off and pulled me into a hug.

We just stood there for hours.

Finally I broke away and took his hands.

"And there's more I have to tell you. Before we can try get back to normal.. Between us."

He nodded.

"The night I had my little "party". I met with Katherine." I waited who he would react but he just nodded.

"and she helped me with hunting Stefan."

Another nod.

"And.." I took a deep breath, "when I went away for some days I went clubbing. And Klaus followed me."

I could feel that his hands grabbed mine tighter than before.

"He told me what he needs me for."

"And?" He looked mad.

"I remind him of his best friend. I looked like her."

He nodded, trying to control his feelings.

"And we were friends but he made me forget. Since that we didn't talked."

He dropped my hands and turned to the window.

"Who knew about that?" He shivered from hidden feelings.

"Only Andy.. and Katherine."

He turned around and in a flash he pressed me against a wall.

"Do you trust her?" I could see the madness in his eyes.

"We became... friends."

He hid the wall behind me.

"Damon!"

He smashed the table that was left in Stefan's room.

"YOU-ARE-FRIENDS?!!"

I started to cry.

"Please, I know that's weird but-"

"You are...-NO!" He took a piece of wood.

"Damon?!! What are you doing?"

"No! No! And the thing with Klaus? He took Stefan! He killed Jenna! No!" He smashed the window.

"Damon!" He turned around.

I never saw that much hate in his look.

"Leave."

I left, I could have try to talk to him but it wouldn't change everything.

I walked home. Like a normal human being. I walked around the house and jumped up to Jenna's window.

Since she died we kept the door shut. I opened the window and slipped inside. I laid down and cried quietly.

On her bedside table was a picture of Jenna & me.

"I ruined it. I failed you, Jenna." I whispered and closed my eyes.

I opened my eyes and heard Alaric and Elena downstairs.

"I won't help you!" Alaric said angrily.

"Please, if you don't come with me I go alone!" Elena sounded serious.

"Oh come on! A wood full of wolfs or hybrids, Klaus and crazy Stefan; You can't go alone!"
