Bonfire-Flashback

The party. The bonfire. So many memories. Tyler and I two years ago. I shook my head.
Vicki. Oh yes, Vicki. That night the trouble with her started. And it broke Jer's heart. It has been a year now? Wow.

I finished my gold eye makeup and slept on some red lipstick.
I checked myself in the mirror.
Casual and Cute. Everything was perfect for... I stopped... For going alone to a bonfire. Kat hadn't answered yet and so I had to go alone.
When I reached the waterfalls I parked my car and went over to look for Elena or Damon.
I passed some drunk people before I spotted Damon; Flirting with Rebekah? My mouth swung open and I took the drink from the guy next to me.
"Thank's." I compelled him.
I stared tense at Damon.
I knew that he noticed me but he didn't looked away from Rebekah.
Ah fine, flirting with the bitch. Do what you want. A blond guy walked towards me and I grabbed his wrist:
"Hey. Let's dance."
He nodded, of course he did. I smirked.
We danced wild and he put his arms around my waist. I smiled too.
Suddenly someone pulled him away.
"Go!" Caroline compelled him.
"What are you doin' Cal?!" She yelled at me.
"Same as my boyfriend." I answered harshly and looked over to Damon and Rebekah how now ate Marshmallows together.
"Cal, I'm sorry it's... complicated."
I didn't paid attention; I was looking for Tyler.
"Wait. Where's Tyler Caroline?"
"Ehm.. I don't know."
"He's your boyfriend and your an awful liar!"
"Okay. Klaus problems." She sighed and looked sadly at me.
"Oh Caroline."
We kept quiet.
"And where are Stefan and Elena?"
"They are-"
Damon gasped for air. I turned around and when I turned back Caroline was gone as well as Rebekah.
"Damon!" I rushed over to him.
"Callie." He gasped in pain.
"Let me help you."
"Pull the damn stick out!"
He half shouted.
"Okay, okay."
I lifted his shirt up and immediately I felt tension between us. The stick was right in his tummy.
"Callie, don't look at my body, pull it out." Damon grinned while he said that.
I started to pull it out.
"So, what where you guys up to?"
"We?," he looked surprised, "up to?"
"Yep, you and Caroline and I guess Elena.."
"Ah, yeah. Gettin Stefan back."
Another grin.
"So you and Rebekah are not.. Dating."
His face dropped.
"What? Callie, you and me have problems but we are not over or something! You think I would go with that bitch? Thank's, really."
He pulled it out and got up.
"So I didn't lost you?"
"Not forever." He said and turned away.
I sad there and tried to hide the tears.
For now I lost him. There was hope but for now.. I swiped a tear away.

I just looked to the ground upset when something changed.
The smell. It didn't smelled any longer like bonfire. The sent of smoke and fire was different. I focused on it and
realised that it wasn't the smell of the bonfire, it was further away. And now I heard screams and shouts.
Alaric? I got up and started to run.
No, no,no! No one is going to die! Not tonight!
I reached the parking lot and spotted Elena's SUV. It burned. I saw Alaric but where was Elena?
I run around the car. She was at the back trying to get someone out. Stefan?
I grabbed her shoulders, pulled her away and dragged Stefan out.
"What have you done??"
I shouted. Even tough Stefan acted like an idiot he was still my best friend!!
"Nothing!" She answered in tears.
"Ah, and what's that?"
I pointed on the helpless Stefan.
"Okay! Yes we tried to get him in the basement!"
"By burn him up?!" She must be kidding me.
"No! The car just started to burn!"
The anger hit me and while I struggled to keep it under control Stefan got up.
"What- what happened?" He coughed.
"They tried to lock you up and "safe" you from yourself and the getaway car started to burn." I answered sarcastically.
He grinned weakly.
"Ah." Immediately he turned back to cold hard Stefan.
Without another word he left.
"Bye Stefan!" I shouted but he kept walking away. "Gosh, he's such an ass." I said to Elena and Ric.
"Hmh." Elena nodded.
No one said something.
"Okay Ric!" I took the word, "Go home and I take Elena home."
"No!" Elena said right away.
"God Elena, let Ric drive home so he can sleep. I'll go home now anyway!"
I rolled my eyes.
"Fine." She said and shrugged.
"Bye, Ric."
We reached my car and got in.
Elena stared out of the window.
"Hey Elena.."
I waited until she paid attention.
"Yes." She sounded depleted.
"What's up with Caroline? She seemed upset."
"Yes, it's because of Tyler. He's loyal to Klaus. He...does what Klaus tells him to do."
"Wait like loyal to his maker?"
"Yeah." No she looked sad.
"That's rude I mean... Why??"
"Klaus released him from the pain of the turning every month." She said while she stared out of the window."
"Wow. Maybe I can talk to Klaus.."
"Yes. He does what you want.."
She rolled her eyes.
"Elena. I know it's rough right now. But I'm there for you!"
"Hm. Fine." She sounded so cold.
I concentrated on the street again.
"Here we are." I said when we reached the house.
We got in and I went straight upstairs.
"Night Callie."
"Night."
